God bless brother. I think you come from the old school mentality and your father taught you well.
My father and mother taught me the same thing.
Never buy any unnecessary things on credit. Only the vital things like a house, which I’m also about to pay off since it’s my only debt.

Yep never ever have I took a loan out at a bank and have never spent .80 cents on a dollar so I could flash around a piece of plastic and it's all thanks to Pop's.

I said not that all what europe did was/is well.
Of course the US is not the Bill payer for europe. But what Trump is doing is falling down from the other side from the horse.
 
Who would have thought Trump would jump into bed with Putin and become a commie lover. I guess peace means Putin and Trump carving up the Ukraine for themselves. Putin will take the lion's share no doubt.

Well on the plus side we now know how and when those ten kings who for one hour gave their power and strength unto the beast do the about face and begin to hate the whore and begin to make her desolate and naked.
 
Scripture tells us that at some point in time Babylon crumbles and the merchants and ship captains that traded with her weep and cast dust on their heads. There's nothing going to stop it and Gold and Silver will be worth far less than eggs.

If you want to stop Fentanyl from coming across the border simply stop importing goods. If there are no imports to check then border security will be able to focus much more heavily on everyone else coming across. Also, if you charge tariffs you can raise a lot more money for border security so even if they do continue to import goods you will have more money for security.

BTW since we have a very big trade deficit with everyone we are putting tariffs on this will not harm the US in the aggregate. Obviously some things will become more expensive or harder to get. However, mostly that will be short term as manufacturing moves to the US. That means from the get go you will see a lot more investment in the US economy and a lot more jobs and a lot more money staying in the US. When we buy a foreign made car that money for the most part leaves the country and the US does not get tax revenue from that.
 
I don't really know anyone personally who even does fentanyl but even if we stopped the flow they'll probably just drink rubbing alcohol or somthing else trying to get high and die from that. I do know about eggs,car parts and getting to eat meat and produce though and so I see it like NATO and Z if they want to fight ww2 go for it and if the little dummies want to die from fentanyl or other drugs then you cant stop them. The POTUS needs to work on eggs,meat and potatoes and forget the fentanyl conspiracy sideshow stuff.

Wow. You really are living under a rock if you don't see this HUGE problem. I live in Montana and it is here! Nephew is a deputy in little ole Granite county and sees it plenty. Not to mention the statewide busts almost daily.

The open border and all the CRAP that comes with that is priority. Energy and drill baby drill comes next. We will be egging liberal houses again before we know it.

I agree, I was a teacher and drugs are destroying families. It isn't simply the guy who uses the drugs or sells the drugs, they all suffer. Family members are in prison, once they get out they are felons and can only work for minimum wage. So if 100,000 die, you know there are another 900,000 using that haven't died yet and they affect 10 million close family members, not to mention all the social services, police and other issues. You have turf wars, car crashes, lawsuits, etc. If you count up the total cost it will easily be ten to a hundred times the cost of clamping down on the border.

Also, the drug trade is financing all kinds of criminals from those that sell to the mules, and the soldiers and the money laundry.

Finally, the damage to people that could otherwise have been productive members of society is another drain.

No I live in Texas and we have to guard our homes at night because the place is crawling with meth-heads so try to cut all the wire out of your garage walls and steel your AC if you don't.

Wow up north it must be really messed up we just got meth heads,crack heads and people smoking hemp everywhere you go.

I grew up in SD. And we had the same issue working on the reservations. We had a contract to build new homes for the Indians on the reservation. They would go in at night and rip out all the copper water lines and romex. We had to keep a close eye on them at ALL times.

The telephone wires wherever you go have sneakers hanging from them. Gang members do that when a member of their gang is killed. I taught at a school in Brooklyn and every year we had students who were killed, knifed, etc.

Once I heard from a teacher that one of my students had lost his cousin who was murdered the night before. So when I saw him and expressed my condolences. But as we talked I realized he was not talking about the same person the teacher had told me about. I brought this up and he thought I had been talking about a different cousin of his who had been killed. He had had two cousins murdered.
