I bet things like this was more in line with what @Texasgal was referring to? From the dissolving of the USSR onward Russia tried to become NATO allied themselves. Afterwards Russia signed multiple agreements with the West and even gave Bush JR intelligence info in regards to Afghanistan and was invited to his ranch. But according to the Russian version, D-Day was a sideshow after Russians did the heavy lifting. So Russians liberated Europe from the Nazis.
So, WHO really liberated Europe from the Nazis? Nobody knows. Maybe it was the aliens.

After an extremely strong start to his second term and the recent hardcore geopolitics going on this will serve both as a significant speech for Trump but also the advancement of several plotlines,notably the overall plotline of Ukraine and whether the potential for the blessing of peace is even still on the table or if Zelensky has royally screwed this up to the point that they would have to replace him or else the point that Russia figures Zelensky's so weak they might as well just not negotiate at all and might as well just continue war.
