(This post was inspired by a chat with a CC friend about the recent Gladiator 2 movie, which neither of us has seen, but apparently they flood the Colosseum and fill it with sharks.)

I watched a YouTube clip of this scene, and one of the comments mentioned how cool it would have been to include Dr. Evil's favorite aquarium pets!
And yes, I've seen this movie.

I'm thinking about the irony of social media (twitter/x, facebook, instagram, etc...).
On one hand you get to be a participant within a huge group of people from all backgrounds and walks of life. On the other hand you get to find out how little anyone cares about the things you say or post.
Unless you're popular online, but most people aren't.

I am still thinking about the 72-year-old Lyft driver who picked me up this morning who got saved when he was 7 years old.
I took two quick photos of his car when he dropped me off.
He had 39 magnets with biblical messages on them on his car, and he told me that he had just received a bunch of decals with biblical messages on them that he needed to apply to his windows.
I asked him if any of his passengers ever complained, and he told me that there were two times when Muslims refused to get in his car. To date, he has picked up 1000 passengers.
He is determined to get God's message out somehow until his dying breath.
More power to him.
We shared a brotherly hug before he left. Actually, two.
