It is what the Greeks meant by the word. I am doubtful they meant to make into nothingness/non-existent ... as in ex nihilo.
You destroy but do not construct. If you have a better way of explaining how hell jibes with God being loving and just
than what I shared in post #79 about souls being ad nihilum after justice is achieved along the lines of "eye for eye",
then please share it.

fyi... I should have typed "ad nihilim" been a while since I studied Latin.

If the term is not used in the New Testament then it is not there and the concept is not there.

IOW, what do you think IS there in the NT that explains how hell is just and loving?
