I’m getting by. One of the advantages of growing up poor is that you learn that you can trust nobody else to provide you with anything. I have set my house in order a long time ago.

Sorry to hear about your trust issues.
I was brought up to trust family first and later on I leaned to trust God.
I also know that it’s fashionable in USA to kick your child out of the house at 18, so I get it.

A joke? Perhaps you are not aware but in the event of a worldwide crisis the UN has the authority to take over the government of every nation. They voted on that last October, it is called the Pact for the Future.

Be careful, it is not all fraud and abuse, he is also against waste. Think how wasteful it is to pay a federal worker 40k a year when AI can do their job for 10k a year, in fact think how wasteful it is to pay anyone a salary when AI and robots can do their job for 1/4th of that.

Yep, it is a brave new world coming and Elon Musk is paving the way for this Beast empire to rise up out of the nations.

The issue I had with the left was they were willing to ignore the concerns of those on the right concerning many issues but election fraud being one prominent example. They didn't care that they were censored, fired, and scapegoated.

Now that the MAGA populists are in power they also are willing to ignore the concerns of those on the left concerning many issues, but a move toward dictatorship being the chief one. They don't care that they are censored, fired and scapegoated.

This is not what a good shepherd does, this divide and conquer strategy is what worthless shepherds do.

How 'bout returning to the people the massive tax cuts they're planning to give the top 1%; or the money for the government contracts given to the richest man in the world. That sounds like a way more righteous alternative than gutting whole departments that are there for the safety and benefit of the people. We're in bizzarro territory.

Your welcome, but no really about a quarter way down this article Abbott's spokesperson Renae Eze explains that in Texas legislature they have mechanisms that alloyed them to reallocate Federal funding. So if the 5000 goes to Texas and their suppose to give it to their citizens we probably wont get it just like the Covid money.
