Ahh yes I see, if one looks at the fall of various empires there is certainly some evidence of this.
Very interesting, I need to look at the numbers, there is so much coming out it is hard to take it all in.

A crash of some type does seem imminent, there are a several bubbles in the economy that are very worrisome.

I do not support a stimulus check of any kind until the budget is balanced and we are paying down the debt.

Just thinking on this further, especially with what is going on geo-politically with China, Russia and Ukraine, it does not make sense to me that the "elites" in the USA are trying to crash the economy at this point in time.

The big picture is crucial.

I think they are just using stimulus cheques as a way of pandering, to keep the people on their side.
 
Stimulus checks seem like pure communism to me. Everyone on welfare. The government will own you in every way. I don’t see how Texas would approve of that.

I sure hope this stimulus thing is just fake news.

Liberal talking points? The day the federal government hands out money is the day we accept socialism and communism. That would be a massive violation of states rights.
 
When the stimulus checks went out during COVID I was homeless so they were a very welcome relief. I was able to get some money in the bank and eventually get off the street. But I knew a lot of people who just squandered it all in nothing flat.

If they plan on another stimulus using money that they've acquired through the unlawful activities of DOGE, I'll just send it back or torch it; I won't keep it.

What Donald should really do is get his butt busy keeping the grand promises he made about how wonderful the economy was going to be on day one when he took over.
