A lot of the warming attrbuted to CO2 is due to UHI (urban heat island) effect. The abbreviation for Chicago's O'Hare airport is ORD, an abbreviation for orchard, ie rural farmland. The temperature station that has been there for decades is now surrounded by concrete runways that hold and radiate heat, so naturally the temps have risen there. But the scientists you place so much trust ignored that. Anthony Watts and some others exposed their fraud.

I listen many years ago to one that had a hand in starting all this. Today what was said in the past has been forgotten. For me all this is mute. If man stopped everything that (they say) causes Climate Change so what? Nothing changes. Go back and read Rev that is coming and 1/3 here 1/3 there so forth so on is coming.

For me this is like me trying to do righteous good works but I don't know Christ. God looks at that as worthless as rages. When most of the world is not will not change its mute. What mattes is do they know Him JESUS Christ as lord. Each day that passes that "birth pain" gets worse.

I have been following climate change since 1993.

I am a hard nosed skeptic and I do not believe that humanity can stop climate change.

Governments of large industrial countries such as the US cannot afford to act on climate change.
That is an economic reality for the US; it's transport, industry, commercial, is solely based on fossil fuel.
The US like Russia, China, India, Canada, Brazil and Australia, are huge countries. We are not small European
countries that can reduce emissions overnight. Without undergoing a huge fall in their GDP.

That's the reality that obliterates the ideas that ignorant climate activists promote.

In my country a third of our GDP is derived from mining black and brown coal. At the time the
government suggested a climate tax; they were removed from government at the election.
No party in our country mentions a carbon tax anymore. My country is nearly the same size as the US.
We cannot take big climate change steps to reduce emissions unfortunately.

The temperature is rising and that is a fact.

If you devastate the surface of the earth by removing forests which we have been doing seriously, for
two hundred years. Then we will alter the temperature of the earth and you can't argue this.

Add to that, building houses and roads across the surface of the earth. Power plants, concrete buildings,
industry, aircraft, ships, massive production. The temperature at night will rise across the planet. I really
struggle with folk that do not understand the basics of climate change.

The addition of increasing CO2 emissions just speeds up the slow climate change. That was already taking
place on this planet.

I have not been deceived because we have devastated this planet.

your country won't take significant steps because they know BS, FYI, Sin is the issue with a fallen world. Jesus is going to fix it. Not reduction in CO2 emissions but the remission of sins.
 
We just need all the denominations to come together and cast out climate change. Wait. Wasn't there a cool of the day in Genesis? Does this mean it was warmer at another time? Hmmmm. Probably just Adam messing with the tree of the knowledge of hot and cold.

You know where the climate never changes? I wonder if they will believe in global warming in the Lake of Fire?
 
This has been going on for the entire temperature record. From around 1880 to 1950 there were only around 2 dozen temp stations continuously recording temps in the entire southern hemisphere, with most of those being in SE Australia. All of the other data for the entire southern hemisphere have been made up.

"many “stations” allegedly “reporting” temperatures don’t actually exist anymore, and haven’t for years. The government is just making up the data reported from many locations based on an averaging of temperatures recorded at other locations in the area.

I believe all the above would have happened anyway regardless of climate change.

I believe the image that they force us to revere or worship, will also talk to us.

It's looking more likely a very powerful AI image with an almost limitless intelligence.

Will be the object of the world's attention.

I think security concerns and political activist concerns from the far left and right.

Will likely force a registration system (the mark) for everyone.

The false prophet is the one running the big show (Revelation 13).

The real problem is that this is all necessary now in such a fractured, dysfunctional world.

I will refuse the mark but I will be seen as a moron by everyone.
