me too i’m with this prayer
If you have been saved the way people in the Bible were saved—before denominations of men began preaching “different” plans of salvation like the sinner’s prayer and”faith only,” and if you continue to be faithful to God, then you can be sure of your salvation.

Read 1 John 5:13-“ I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, and that you may CONTINUE to believe in the name of the Son of God.” We have great assurance from God.

I have never felt truly secure with my salvation. I set a high standard for myself, and have a tightrope salvation. Instead of being happy I am saved, I get terrified, being afraid that if I sin that I am going to hell, as if salvation is “lost” on a day to day basis, then it comes down to how good I am on that particular day. If I sinned, then I’m not damned. If I didn’t, then I’m not. I get terrified and feel God is extremely angry at me when I sin. This a miserable way of life. Any advice help will be appreciated. It’s as if I’m walking on eggshells all the time.
After telling Him my heart convicts me 24/7 of sin and then I wanted to walk away He said "what is righteousness?" Its right standing with God. He asked "how do you get righteousness?" By believing in Jesus Christ.

Do you see? Its not what you do its what Christ already did. Its your faith in Him John 3:16-17 Rom 10:9-10. We all sin we all miss it. He said I have not given you the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. So those thoughts you get are from the enemy and the enemy can only lie there is no truth in him. God will never use fear. Your name is written in Heaven in the lambs book and you are grafted in to the vine. So we all fall.. we just get up dust off keep going. No matter what you do RUN to Him.. He will never ever let you go. You seek you pray you find this for your self. But remember the enemy can only lie. These thoughts you have are not from GOD. You as the word said.. you are a citizen of Heaven. You are in Christ and you are in GODS hands and He never ever drops anyone. Hard part it forgiving your self. There is none righteous not one. No matter what we may personally think of our selfs wise and what not.. to God we are the same in Christ.. they all have fallen short. Every one of them has to believe in rely on Christ.

1 John 5:11-13 + John 6:47 ~ This is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.
