Sorry if this is off-topic but two main sports that interest me are pool and backgammon.
I can play pool for 14 hours standing, which is pretty impressive for a man my age. (y)
I've always enjoyed shooting pool... I used to think I was pretty good at it, but I got to play against people that really were.... good lessons.

I just checked on the scores from yesterday's games, and I was shocked to see that the Commanders beat the Lions. Not that I am complaining. Like I said, I do not like either the Lions or the Chiefs. Hopefully, the Chiefs will fall next...not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things.

I'm that old too and remember Tom Landry's firing.
Yeah, I remember that too.

According to the law of averages, the falcons are due another coaching change.

Correction:

The Buffalo Bills have to play the Kansas City Chiefs, AND the refs who love them, next.

Can they beat the Chiefs? Sure, they can.

Can they beat the refs? Probably not.

The other game, the Washington Commanders vs. the Philadelphia Eagles, should be a good matchup.

when calls get made like the calls made in the chiefs games, i see why folks think the games are rigged and fixed.

i don't think they are, but i see why folks do believe that..

I just went through everybody's picks, including my own, and nobody picked the final Super Bowl matchup because at least one of their teams lost already.

How about with the remaining four teams?

Bills vs. Chiefs, and Commanders vs. Eagles.

Who do you think is going to the Super Bowl?

I am definitely rooting for the Bills to beat the Chiefs and the refs, and I would like to see the Commanders beat the Eagles.

You?

People still watch NFL?
I know, right? It's like watching game of thrones. You root for your favorite character, but the plot will kill him off, so you root for your next favorite character, but the plot will kill him off... And none of it really matters, because it's all predetermined in the script. The winner will be determined by the ones who write the play.

Probably the Bills and the Eagles but I'm hoping the Chiefs and the Commanders are in the SUPER bowl,if it's the Chiefs and Commanders I hope the Chiefs win though, because they won last year and I want them to win Super bowls in a row AND I want to see who Taylor Swift invites into the VIP box too,but I WOULD be happy for the Commanders if they WERE to win.

The Chiefs already won two Super Bowls in a row. No team has ever won three Super Bowls in a row, so they might make history. I love their coach, Andy Reid, but I cannot stand their players. I would love to see the Bills beat them, but the Chiefs do have the better team. Josh Allen is like Superman though, so maybe they will pull off the upset.

I really don't care too much about the Commanders and Eagles, but I do think that the Eagles coach is prone to make a bone-headed decision, so I think that the Commanders will win a close one in that contest.

What do I know?

I thought that it would be the Lions' year, even though I said that they are not really that good of a team. Since getting eliminated, they lost their offensive coordinator (to the Bears) and their defensive coordinator (to the Jets), so they will probably stink as a team going forward.
