DANGER! "CHINA Has FALLEN...." - Jim Rickards

The mandate of heaven is a two edged sword "if you lose it you're done"

"What's China's next move? They don't have a move."

Here is the problem with being rich, other people also want to be rich. So do you have a barrier to entry or can anyone do what you do? Israel, Taiwan, Germany, the US, these countries are famous for doing things no one else can do. But china? Nope, everyone else can imitate their model.

Jim Rickards has been working in and with China for 30 years, about the same number of years as I have been involved with Taiwan.
And FYI, Taiwan and China are not the same country. If you lived in Taiwan, you would have known that.

The KKK have been around at the same time as light bulbs. The KKK was founded as Southern resistance to republicans after the war.
And now in recent years the KKK and other white supremacist groups support the Republicans
Conservatives like to think they have a gotcha moment when they mention that Lincoln was a Republican
The Republican party of Lincoln doesn't exist now. Conservatives and Democrats have switched platforms

Yeah I don't know why they think this is a gotcha. You won't find a single Democrat today wearing a KKK hood or welding a swastika

So spell it out, what are you saying?

No one wants to be seen with the KKK, so publicly supporting a party is clearly a negative, not a positive. If the KKK were truly for the Republicans they would have kept quiet. It sounds a whole lot more like their public support was designed to hurt them, not help. Even the Democrats during Jim Crow when we later discovered some of the politicians were in the KKK publicly they would castigate the KKK. How naive and simple do you have to be to buy into that narrative?

You really are clueless. Yes, I was aware of the complex political dynamics. But I also went to Hong Kong, and my brother in law though he lived and worked in Taiwan, his company had major presence in China. I also worked with Taiwan companies that were doing import/export. Their factories were in China but Americans preferred to talk to those in Taiwan because their english was much better which is where I came in.

Living in Taiwan gave me a first hand view of everything they were doing and the US was doing to help secure them from attack. It also gave me a first hand view of the Chinese culture and since my daughter lives there today it has meant I have focused far more on the situation in Taiwan and China than you would ever get from US media or news.

The more you talk the less and less it seems you know about the entire situation.

Back in the 90s it was easy to extrapolate China becoming the world's biggest economy and superpower. But then I was able to easily see the belly of the beast was wide open to attack. For example, in order to feed the people on the coast where all the manufacturing and international trade was they needed their military to go into the fields in rural China and help the peasants with the harvest. At that time all the trains were taken over for this purpose. Take out a couple of railroad lines and 200 million people starve. Taiwan has people in place like sleeper cells in China for such an eventuality. If you blow up the 3 gorges dam you will flood the entire Yangtze river valley where 500 million live and where all of China's manufacturing is, their equivalent of the rust belt. On paper every Chinese province has stored up large warehouses of food in reserve in the event that something does happen. But recently they discovered all those corrupt officials had sold that food to the black market to make themselves rich and replaced it with sawdust. China knows any war they get involved with will result in tens of millions of people starving to death on the streets and more likely over a hundred million. Did you see their dress rehearsal for this during Covid where they welded shut the doors to huge apartment buildings and everyone was locked into the buildings, many of whom simply starved to death. Meanwhile the recent college graduates from last year and the year before cannot get jobs because foreign companies are packing up and leaving in the droves and much of their export business has died. Ever since the Pandemic the Chinese have become more and more vocal in their public defiance of the government. This is a country where if you speak out against the leaders you disappear and yet you are able to find numerous examples of large protests in the street. China is a tinderbox, it is ready to explode and there is no way to go to war without this country going up in flames.

Yep and everyone's complaining about the price of groceries. Wait until they deport all the farmworkers
No one is talking about deporting all the farmworkers. That is racist. You assume that all farmworkers are illegal?

Please provide us a link to support this claim or is this just another ugly thing to come from your twisted imagination?

Certainly not all of them but many of them are doing jobs that Americans don't want to do like manual farm labor 12 hours a day for minimum wage.
Because Americans are lazy and entitled and don't want to do that type of work

Yeah I was being hyperbolic when I said all. Just googled it And deporting all undocumented immigrants, we would lose about 30% of our farm workers

Can you cite a source for this?
According to psychiatrists, yes, narcissists often recognize other narcissists, primarily due to a phenomenon called "projection," where they tend to see their own behaviors and traits reflected in others, allowing them to identify similar patterns in other narcissistic individuals.

Now that you cited a source he's not gonna like or accept that either so why even cite a source in the first place?
Just remind them that when they play stupid games (like putting a man in a dress and calling it a woman) then they're going to win stupid prizes.

It is very reasonable based on everything Trump has said about deporting illegals that his priority is felons, drug dealers and gang members. He would not limit himself to convicted felons because that would require too much from time and money from the justice department. Still it is not possible to deport 20 million people in one fell swoop so you have to have a priority. But the reason this was a campaign issue was because of violence and the decay to society. This decay is most noticeable in the cities like NYC and Chicago.

So it may be that Trump intends to deport all 20 million, but the first priority is probably the most violent million of those 20. The last priority is likely the million farmworkers who do a valuable job as migrant farm hands, they are not involved in gangs, or the drug trade, or human trafficking. Also Trump is a pragmatist, when Elon Musk has robots that can replace migrant workers that would be when he would deport them.

Now this is simply my assumption based on the previous four years of Trump's administration and the campaign issue in which migrant farm workers were never mentioned as an issue. I could be wrong. But for the moment there is no basis to take the ugliest and most heinous possible interpretation of what Trump is trying to do and ascribe it to him. We are not even one week into Trumps administration, it is very repulsive to me to see these haters who all they have done for the last four years is hate on him and already spewing more vile hate.

I am definitely concerned that many of these policies do have the potential to go extreme towards fascism. But that is why you can't destroy your credibility by being a hater. No one is going to listen to Dude or RA because they have been hating for years. What we need is vigilance on the part of those who are supportive of the president, praying for peace and for his success, and who are guided by the Holy Spirit.

So instead of understanding the comparison made of Beijing's and Shanghai's architecture to U.S. cities, you decided to use this an opportunity to boast?

No, I used it to determine if it is a complete waste of time talking to you. So this has been very beneficial to me, though for anyone who has read your posts I'll let them decide for themselves.
