I agree. It's hard for us to wrap our minds around anything that doesn't appeal to our reasoning and sensibilities.
The fact that angels somehow mated with humans is unreasonable to us. And it goes against what God created us for. It is so unreasonable to us........That people will reject the clear meaning of scripture and replace it with their reason and senses.
God gives us a sound mind and warns us against going off in unanchored directions. What you are calling the clear meaning of scripture is anything but that. It's only clear to a carnal mind that can't see beneath the surface

lol you have it backwards. You grew up with TV/movies that pushed this kind of stuff constantly, so belief in it comes naturally to you. It's the worldly mind at work
