Made me think of this meme I saw recently.
Sadly that's the reality with most modern social media obsessed women, the narrative is pushed that you must date someone way way over your height it's insane

Exactly correct. They call it the "666 rule". 6 feet+, 6 figure+ income, and 6-pack abs. The devil is literally in the details. :devilish:

Sounds like a good way to screw up your body, no way am I even considering that! Yeah some people will do anything....
I've seen videos of people who have documented having this procedure done (breaking their legs and stretching them,) their achingly slow recovery (I think it takes at least a year, if not more?), and not being able to walk for an extended amount of time.

I'm only a few inches away from being a short-variety elf myself (5 feet tall,) and I would NEVER, EVER, want someone to feel they had to go through such a horrific ordeal.

Not to mention it doesn't extend their arms, making them look a bit disproportionate. T-Rex arms

Just for the record, from the pictures you've posted, you're a good-looking guy with a witty, insightful personality.

Congrats on the weight loss -- what tips would you give others for losing weight?

And don't worry too much about the height.

Now it's true that you might not land some 6' Amazon babe, but I've known lots of short girls who wouldn't mind if a guy is more in their height range. :)
I appreciate the kind words . Um weight loss is fairly elementary there's really nothing to it except suffering and willpower 😂. I've cut out breads and starches, ice cream, candy, alcohol, so basically anything fun....stick to real meats you have to cook (no deli meat bc sodium and nitrites) . Lot's of vegetables, go easy on the fruit bc sugar) dairy in moderation, as much eggs as you want. Drink only water, milk, coffee or tea. Don't eat after 7pm . Diet is most of the battle, but also exercise. Lift weights 3-4 days a week and do some kind of cardio every day for atleast an hour. Okay I just realized I wrote too much 😂

As far as Amazon babes I'll leave those for Tarzan or Hercules. Guess I gotta find me a shorty

I will add that after you reach your target weight goal you can incorporate fun things back into your diet but maintain your weight from that point on and don't let it get out of control again, otherwise all previous suffering will be in vain

Congratulations! What is your sweetener of choice? Have you ever tried monk fruit?

It is a terrible idea to extend one's spine. This reminds me of all those people with hernia surgeries. the complications after the surgery are extensive. They can never eat too much or even bed over even changing sides can be painful. Don't ever get one.
Man thinks they can 'fix" what our father made perfect.

I needed one of those for a right inguinal hernia, and it has worked great for decades.

Lynx, that's great for you, but there are close to 1.5 million hernia repair surgeries performed every year, and there's even a lawsuit Hernia Mesh Lawsuit | Sokolove Law, when many times a person can fix a hernia simply by exercise

Can you date someone significantly( let's say at least 10 years) older or younger ?

You are welcome to the community Tosn.
Older is fine, but not younger. My principles anyway. However, while I was younger I would say...too old.😄

Basically , as a Christian, the question is more ‘what strains will there be dating an unbeliever’

But friendship is the bedrock of actual love and would anyone say ‘you can’t have a friend who is a decade older than/ younger than you?’

So it’s not an age thing it’s a ‘mental and emotional connection thing’

I rather see a happy couple who were 25 years apart in age , than a couple a few years apart who aren’t even friends when you think about it

Can you share the biblical answer if any please.
People put their own personal, philosophical, and cultural biases on most everything. If someone was raised by our public school system, there will remain a self imposed age segregation for the rest of their lives in the vast majority. Seniors in need of family care are more frequently left to nursing home "care." Many could have recovered and contributed to the blessings of the family with support from them.

Back to the present application.
The social engineering of age segregation has enabled the Devil to weaken humanity very effectively.

Do you know which couple in the Bible has the biggest reported age gap?

Depends on whether you are using a midrash as proof.

The Bible itself doesn't say much at all about ages.

If you believe a midrash, Boaz was 80 and Ruth was 40 when they married.
