The LXX has an interesting rendition of Deuteronomy 32:43 in which both angels and sons of God are mentioned, but the difference between the two is obvious, ie, men aren't in heaven and angels blood isn't shed (which they probably don't have anyway)
Rejoice ye heavens with him and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people. Deuteronomy 32:43
It appears that you are trying to find "conclusive" evidence in a single verse. Allow me to remind you of Psalm 119:160:
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.
I did a deeper study on that one day. It means that God's truth is found when you put His word all together.

No I didn't present that as being conclusive. I posted it because it's an interesting distinction made in the same song that you think says sons of God (verse 8). I doubt Moses would have mixed two incompatible ideas in the same song

But? Those weak in their faith tend to fear a perceived resistance by evil, and to hide themselves they join the resistance.
They being weak can not overcome the evil out their own willed ignorance of God's Word.
Leaving them with the inability to fight the good fight.
Instinctively, they fear being perceived as a threat by the evil.
So they join them. And, fight Christians desiring accurate understanding.

So it was done for faithful angels that qualified to watch over nations during the OT days.
Who were the angels watching over Israel?
According to the Bible, the archangels Gabriel and Michael are the guardian angels of Israel. They protect the Israelites from the angels of other nations.
“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise.
There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning
of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is
found written in the book—will be delivered."
Daniel 12:1
I don't think they were the faithful angels. Every nation had its own god and they weren't YHWH

When the Jews were worshipping pagan gods in Jeremiah's day... Gabriel was still overseeing the nation.
Gabriel appeared to Daniel during those days.

What you presented doesn't undermine my position in the least. I am claiming that "sons of Israel" is the incorrect translation. That the nations were divided according to the number of the "angels of God" is compatible with my position.
It really boils down to whether you believe the MT is accurate or the LXX is in Job and Deuteronomy. In this particular case I think the LXX has the right rendition because the scriptural evidence for it is much stronger.
