"Sons of God". While I don't hold that angels and sons of God are synonymous, they are closer in concept than angels and sons of Israel.
The LXX has angels of God, so again since both are scripture and don't agree, neither are conclusive.

It appears that you are trying to find "conclusive" evidence in a single verse. Allow me to remind you of Psalm 119:160:The LXX has angels of God, so again since both are scripture and don't agree, neither are conclusive.
It could mean that Noah and his sons recounted how pagans of their time believed their rulers were the offspring of angels and women mating together. Not that it actually happened, but that's what they believed
That is not even good....
You don't know when it's wise to quit.
It appears that you are trying to find "conclusive" evidence in a single verse. Allow me to remind you of Psalm 119:160:
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.
I did a deeper study on that one day. It means that God's truth is found when you put His word all together.
Where do we fin d"Sons of God" in the OT?"Sons of God". While I don't hold that angels and sons of God are synonymous, they are closer in concept than angels and sons of Israel.
Still waiting for your explanation why God created angels with the ability to reproduce
Where do we fin d"Sons of God" in the OT?
Always pertaining to angels....
Why do some fight this so?
Who/what is cheering them on?
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." Job 1:6-7
It is really that simple.
Those who want to know for spiritual edification I will explain it to.
Watch to see if anyone does qualify.
Then you will get my answer by proxy...
In the mean while....
Those pearls are staying where they belong.
Do you really want to know?
Or, is it just curiosity, and wanting to see what you can invent to try to counter it?
So far. You do not come across as being ingenuous.
In Christ ................
When the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God. Deuteronomy 32:8
So it was done for faithful angels that qualified to watch over nations during the OT days.
So in other words you can't explain it
I don't think they were the faithful angels. Every nation had its own god and they weren't YHWH
Miss the point much?No I didn't present that as being conclusive.
What you presented doesn't undermine my position in the least. I am claiming that "sons of Israel" is the incorrect translation. That the nations were divided according to the number of the "angels of God" is compatible with my position.I posted it because it's an interesting distinction made in the same song that you think says sons of God (verse 8). I doubt Moses would have mixed two incompatible ideas in the same song
When the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God. Deuteronomy 32:8Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people. Deuteronomy 32:43
Can?
Yes.
To you?
That's a different question.
Go find someone else to invent roadblocks against.
I'm keep my pearls where the Lord commanded me to under such circumstances.
I am looking to answer for someone who really wants to know to make them stronger than they were before.
You need to outgrow what you find yourself in now.
Or, lose.
Sigh, if I only had your gnosis
Miss the point much?
