Can a Calvinist stop being a slave to TULIP?
Can the unregenerate stop being in bondage to their sin nature and the devil?
Can a Calvinist stop being a slave to TULIP?
Are all believers going to receive a resurrection body, just like the Lord's glorious heavenly body?
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church." Ephesians 5:31-32
God wants us to understand that.
In Eternity, not all believers were predestined to be born to believe during the Church age!
That means? Not all chosen to become the Church!
Not all believers were Chosen in Him to be resurrected as His Bride!
“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church." Ephesians 5:31-32Why must some persist in not understanding what it is telling us?
Is unwavering loyalty to one's church dogma of higher importance?
So the dead don't speak to anyone?
1 Samuel 28-7
Then Saul said to his servants, “Seek out for me a woman who is a witch, that I may go to her and inquire of her.”
And his servants said to him, “Behold, there is a witch at Endor.”
Do you remember the narration.
The dead have spoken to the living.
No sirCan the unregenerate stop being in bondage to their sin nature and the devil?
OOk... I'll play stupid.
Who were the saints being addressed?
Jacob stands for Israel and Esau represents Edom.
As I said before, rogerg.
Paul is not talking about individuals but nations and sub-divisions within nations.
Your missing the wider context.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
God does not hate like we hate each other.
God is love and that is the dominating trait that was demonstrated in Christ.
God did not choose Edom but God did choose Israel.
Further on, God chose Judah.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Romans 10:10
For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, your only teacher is the Holy Spirit, too?
Does the Holy Spirit ever show you where you are wrong?
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,
to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up "
Ephesians 4:11-12
Why did you answer that for Rufus, who thinks he has no need for teachers?
That all he needs is his bible and the Holy Spirit to show him all he needs to know.
That was the problem I was addressing.
OK folks....
To some here:
I will not try to change you.
And, you will not be able to change me. Why?
It has been determined by now that we all are not one in the Spirit.
So, consider the following, and take it as from the Lord...
In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it. No doubt there have to be factions among you to show which of you have God’s approval. 1 Corinthians 11:18-19
No sense in continuing trying to convince me of your errors.
And, I will not do likewise with mine.

False teaching
Simply trying to say that we have been saved by Christ's faith and His righteousness, not ours.
Given that I was not quite sure of your point, I made my best attempt to reply to it.
No biggie.
Not exactly sure what you mean. Christ's faith wasn't/isn't temporal - it is eternal. Christ's name is Faithful AND TRUE.
And it was through Christ's faith and righteousness alone (not ours), that salvation was brought forth.
It is a biggie.
We become perfect when Jesus returns and not before.
Nothing is perfect in the here and now.
False teaching. And Im not going to waste time explaining that scripture to you, you are not teachable. I will say, the names written in the lambs book of life are there permanently, they shall never perish. There names were written there when they were born into the world as rebel sinners hating God.Are you claiming that the quotation from the scripture is a false teaching?
"God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city"
You may be following some traditional theology?
I will repeat what the sola scripture states.
"God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city"
Now you tell me why God can't take away someone's share.
Using only the scripture and not some traditional theology from Augustine.
I believe that the book has been sealed so that no name can be added nor deleted!False teaching. And Im not going to waste time explaining that scripture to you, you are not teachable. Everyone of us were once a child so this verse is for every person ever born or conceived.
So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
The real question is if as a child the Father doesn't want anyone to perish, why would that same sentiment change as an adult?
Truly the Father wants every human to be saved. Too bad most choose to reject God like Romans 1 explains.
Here <= link) is an interesting page on the matter of the Book of Life ... and good morning, BillyBob!!!I believe that the book has been sealed so that no name can be added nor deleted!
