Never declare that God is partial in His dealing with mankind, and that is a sin by the way.
Deuteronomy 10:17
For the Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome
God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe.
God has no favorites and God does not choose anyone except through Jesus Christ.
The phrase, "IN HIM", is mentioned 22 times in the letter to the Ephesians.
It is important to recognize that no one is chosen from eternity past for salvation.
Simply because the scripture never says that God shows partiality to some.
We have been predestined to be holy in Him, predestined to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus.
It's not possible for God to be partial, since
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. If YOU are going to accuse God of being partial, then you need to explain the
BASIS for the partiality you allege. Since it can't be sin, then is it race, ethnicity, economic status, social status, political affiliation, church affiliation, what?
Moreover, your bogus argument infers that sinners themselves decide if they want to live or die. Yet, Rom 9 teaches us very differently as does chapter 5 of John's Gospel:
John 5:21
21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.
NIV
And the above text further implies that Son certainly was never pleased to give life to all men. Mat 7:23 succinctly proves this point!
We can even go back to the OT to the Bronze Serpent typology. It certainly pleased God to spare some Jews from being bitten before having the opportunity to look to the serpent to be saved after they were bitten as the first group was. This second group fared much better than the first, since obviously God was not pleased to afford the same opportunity to the first group who were bitten and died.
And what opportunity did God give to millions who comprised the seven nations who occupied the Promised Land that God gave to Israel? David alone shed so much blood in driving out God's enemies (and Israel's) that he was not permitted to build a temple for the Lord. God's instructions to the Israelites were to DRIVE those enemies from HIS land! Kinda like God DROVE Adam out of the Garden.
God isn't this cosmic equal opportunity employer that so many of FWers make him out to be.
