The key is found only in God's leading grace...
One must be led by the Spirit into finding hidden treasure - finding a competent, anointed pastor teacher.
One who is able to dig out from God's Word, gold, silver, and precious stones for us to live by.
And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified." Romans 8:30
So when it says?
Many are called, but few are chosen?
Many are called (saved), but few out of the many will be chosen to serve with Him.
For it takes spiritually maturity in Christ for Him to chose those who will reign with Him.
Yet? Even if not chosen to serve with Him? All will be glorified!
Glorified with glorious Resurrection bodies for all!
It's too good to fully grasp now.
Nonsense! The many who are called in Mat 22:14 speaks to the outward call of the Gospel. The "call" in this passage is not speaking about the inner call of the Holy Spirit. It's talking about the invitation of the Gospel. Take the Parable of the Great Banquet in Luke 14 as a great example. Many were called (invited) to the feast but few were chosen -- and the "few" who were chosen were compelled to come into the feast (v. 23)! The rest who refused the invitation did not taste the banquet (v. 24)!
Also, service to Christ is not an option! It's mandatory. But I'll quit here because of time constraints. But if you persist in your wilfull ignorance of the scriptures, then I will prove this last assertion tomorrow.
