Characteristics of a Cult
  • Charismatic leader
    Cults are centered around a charismatic leader, who may be considered a genius or religious figure.

    Barak Obama would qualify as would Trump.

  • Isolation
    Cults isolate members from family and friends, and may punish those who leave.

    This does not apply to MAGA but certainly applies to the left. How many on MSNBC and CNN told people to shun their relatives at holidays, etc.


  • Control
    Cults exert excessive control over members' lives, including what they can wear, eat, and who they can have relationships with.

    Certainly applies to the left, but not to MAGA.


  • Fear
    Cults use fear tactics to control members, such as threats of eternal damnation, shunning, or physical harm.

    Again that applies to the left, the woke culture, and cancel culture, but not to MAGA


    • Black-and-white thinking
      Cults promote a simplistic worldview, often positioning themselves as good and the outside world as evil.

      That applies to all political parties. Think of Kamala Harris referring to MAGA as deplorable garbage, or Biden, or Hillary, etc. Think of the comparisons to Hitler and Nazis.
    • No questions
      Cults discourage critical thinking or dissent, and members must conform to the group's beliefs without question.

      That applies to the Left and their attitude towards Covid, the vaccine and Trump. But not to MAGA. They were the ones complaining about that attitude.

    • Mind-altering practices
      Cults may use sleep deprivation, chanting, meditation, and drugs to break down individuals' defenses.

      That applies to the left. The only thing that could possibly apply to MAGA is when they go to a campaign rally and all campaing rallies have slogans.

    • Lack of transparency
      Cults don't provide meaningful financial disclosure about their budget or expenses.

      That applies to BLM. To my knowledge there is no organization collecting funds called MAGA.

    • Unreasonable fears
      Cults may promote unreasonable fears about the outside world, such as evil conspiracies and persecutions.

      That is the claim about MAGA but is it truly unreasonable to ask why we are going to war when you have relatives suffering from PTSD or killed because of a phony war looking for WMDs in Iraq? Is it really unreasonable to question financial policy when you had your house taken from you in the Mortgage meltdown? Is it really unreasonable to question the vaccine mandate when your nephew died of a heart attack after getting the vaccine and he was in high school?

    • Beliefs aren't published
      Cults rely on secret or special knowledge that's only revealed to initiates.

      This applies to FreeMasons, Mormons, and Drug Cartels. MAGA is very vocal and very active on Social media to publish everything they think.

Except you know the democrat cult already brought the country to the brink of ruin and that's pretty much the number one reason why they got soundly rejected and put away and they still can't figure it out. Oh how the wicked want us to to be hurt, but the Lord God decided delivered us out of their hands to give us healing instead. So it is the more that we win the more that they will lose. How their attempts at sabotage will fail and backfire on them while we praise Jesus.

Oh no Satan's kids don't like Christianity because the Christians that know their God won't bow down to them and abandon God to be cursed just like they are. They could instead at any time just abandon their master that led them to ruin, repent themselves, be forgiven, and be blessed with us, but they never think about that. Now how about the concern over Christian nationalism or Nazis or Hitler. Is that reasonable? Anyone who considers those fears reasonable and questions about January 6th or the Vaccine mandate as unreasonable is clearly in a cult.

Anyone who applauds a $1.5 billion dollar judgement against the harm done by Alex Jones to the families of 26 people due to his opinions while thinking concerns over the harms done to millions by the vaccine mandate is a bunch of cuckoos is clearly in a cult.

We've already had this conversation about 52 million times, but the goal of suing him for $1.5 billion to bankrupt him so he doesn't have a platform to do this to someone else
Of course all of this could have been avoided by not slandering and defaming grieving families and then ignoring the entire discovery process because he thought he was above the law

I have no issue with anyone suing Alex Jones and I have no issue with a court finding him guilty. Whether or not the judgement was excessive is not a discussion I am interested in as I have not studied this closely enough to have an informed opinion.

But that was not my point. My point is that I lived very close to Sandy Hook and did not personally know a single person harmed by Alex Jones. However I do know six people forced to leave their jobs and move because of the vaccine mandate. I feel certain the number of people harmed by that was exponentially larger.

You have been very vocal to talk about how terrible Alex Jones was because one person had to move ten times. You have also been very vocal about MAGA being a cult.

My point is simply this is a double standard. In my opinion their concern over the vaccine mandate is far more justified and the harm was far greater and impacted exponentially more people. At least a million times more people. So who is the one who is really in a cult? I think you are.

Conservative estimates say 17 million died in the West due to the vaccine and several times that number now have serious health consequences as a result of that vaccine. This is why so many are no longer taking anything you say seriously.

You repeat idiotic talking points about tariffs when the only way to get out of our debt is to spend less money and cut back on imports while investing in the US and rebuilding our manufacturing. No doubt Tariffs will make some things cost more, but for the most part those are things people can do without. Meanwhile Biden's policies made things we couldn't do without 20% more expensive. Again, the more you talk the less anyone takes you seriously.

You are right that we have to extrapolate from various studies because if you do autopsies or ask questions in many countries you get fired.

However, in England they did a statistical analysis

The population of England is a large data set, they have socialized medicine with a good reputation, so this is a reasonable estimate. This study certainly indicates that alarm bells should be going off and studies be done worldwide. A vaccine against a pandemic should not increase you risk of dying 700%.
