well it's not easy. tbh you will fall into temptation and you will sin again. it's a fact. we are not perfect but pray read your bible deny yourself daily take up the cross and follow Jesus! that is a good way to get close to him(= anything else?
If you lean on God and ask Him to change you in the way He wants, there will come a time when temptations will no longer exist as God will have opened your eyes and changed your view of so many things. All you have to do is keep on praying and developing your relationship with Him. He will change you into His own perfection.
For now, resist all temptations with the Word of God and having good company.

Thanks .... its just that I have a hard time when I do stuff that I know I should not its like I start to hate myself and everything I do.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2 (emphasis mine)
That's the key, "the renewing of your mind". It definitely takes work, but there's a really good reminder in Philippians 4:8 - "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Keep up the fight, I know it can seem hopeless at times; generally when it looks the darkest, that's when the enemy is running scared, throwing the last he's got at you, so you know you're on top if you'll just keep it up.

JUST LOOK INTO THE MIRROR AND SEE WHAT YOU SEE, SIN ALWAYS MAKES ONE'S SOUL DARK. IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO STAY AWAY FROM IT THE NEXT TIME. IT ALSO MAKES YOU OLD INSIDE AND OLD OUTSIDE. As a heads up, you necro'd a thread from 2012. Not one of the people posting in this thread is active anymore.
Sticking to threads on the front page is usually ideal to avoid doing this again.
We don't tend to have many teens that stick around for very long. So finding another teen here may be difficult. But cant hurt to try.
1 John chapter 3 talks about Christian people who sin and repent. And habitual simners. This group won't repent and amend there ways. There Reprobates. We try not to sin, no has license to sin.
Galatians chapter 5. Be led by the Spirit, and don't walk in the flesh. The Spirit and flesh are contrary to each other.
Romans chapter 7
For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of flesh, sold into bondage. Apostle Paul goes on to talk about the Spirit and flesh at war with each other. Some people resist holy Spirit, and there is no way modifications can be made. We must submit to God's will, and allow him to transform us within. The flesh is corrupted by sin. Its tuggle of war between the Spirit and flesh.
Ephesians chapter 4 :4
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called. 4:13. Until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the son of God, and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Allow holy Spirit to work within you. Study sound doctrine and keep away from traditions of men and idols.

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self which is corrupted by its deceitful desires. 4:23. To be made new in the attitude of your mind. 4:24. And put on your new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Those who have Holy Spirit, modifications can be made, and a inner transformation is done. It will take Time. If someone is resisting the holy Spirit, there you have it. They will continue in that stagnant state of corruption. And refusing to repent.
Leviticus chapter 26
And if by this discipline you are not turned to Me, but walk contrary to me, then I will contrary to you. We can have God's blessings and protection or cursed. God doesn't listen to the prayer of the wicked. Walk in the Spirit, and not the flesh. I hope this helps you.
