I tell you the truth and I heard this from a pastor. Answered prayers strengthen faith and it encourages more prayer.
On the flip side, unanswered prayers cause many to doubt and lose faith, because waiting on the Lord isn't easy.
However, the answer is to continue praying for a breakthrough. Sometimes I just pray that God give me a sign when I'm dealing with troubles.

Teach me oh Lord, teach me truth, thank you. I trust one day if not today, I will see through it, the confusion of people (Me)
This I heard, you have many problems all at one time, as you are trying to settle one, another one comes in, right? (A Job maybe)
I heard, take one problem at a time, work on that one, in trust to me God Father of risen Son for you. Until it is settled in you. Then let's go to the next one. Oh and start at the most important one first. Putting past behind you, and moving forward in the present (Phil 3:12-15)(Life give you) whether it be evil or good presently. Stand in trust, I God will get you through this, and when I say no, whether or not you hear that, if you continue in asking for what is not good for you, then I God will let you go through that, for you to find out it is not good for you. Then in agreement, you will leave it behind you freely, thank you.

When my eldest brother past away here on earth. before that happened, he said to me ( all this drinking, I was doing is not good for me) then I heard he passed away. I was 21 then, he was 31, He died on Campus Crusade For Life in 1978. Those words he said to me, "It it not good for me" took effect 6 to seven years later. 67 now. God is the key that got me to see freely and left me to choose, not ever said (as religion says) I had to. Matter of fact I chose to, at no pride left in doing that. I trust God. Then the next for me was smoking, then the next for me Lusts of here in this world, not that I got it completely, I don't but God does, and so I thank God daily in this gift, I need God 24/7
I went Jacobs ladder as far up as I could ever get, never reaching the top. Then crying out to God who reached down and set me in his love and mercy for me and all others also. Therefore, I Continue there and whoever continues to grow up new in love and mercy given them will see Hebrews 5:12-Chapter 6 and grow up
Will see the section verses of 1 Cor 13:1-3, 4-7, 8-12-13
God imputes God's love in us the people that do not quit belief to God is my experience, seeing Psalm 100:4, 103:12, Ezekiel 36:26

Putting the past behind you! Yes, I'm learning this, but it's not easy as it involves our past dreams, goals for life, expectations. etc.
Alot of times, I pray to God...yes.. I'm OK with Your plans. But as a married family man with 2 kids, my plans are not MY plans, they involve my family as well, but surely God knows this and takes this into account.

‘yes, i agree, all I can say is stand and stand, not giving up as you go through troubles. You will see clear if you go through it all as a Job in the book of Job without denying God
many a times in my life 68 next month. I have been at my wits end. I would not give up, I would continue to do the best I can, mattered not the troubles I was going through. God always got me through it all, as that never took away the pain, and never got through any of it, as I ever thought would, should or could.
I stood stand in belief, received, and see clearer now only by never doubting. God will get you through it all
that is Faith, belief beyond measure of flesh nature ever understanding.
i would be jobless, pound the pavement for a new job, wouldn’t get it, kept pounding until got it.
i told an employer once, in an interview, after they said we will decide later.
i replied okay, but I am going ahead and will get the job I am looking for from a different employer. I was leaving and they hired me on the spot.
God provides it takes our trusting God no matter trusting God as in Jeremiah 29:11 God knows what is best for anyone, that is key in trusting not trying to figure it out. Just going forward daily, doing your best
