What other BIBLICAL alternative is there? I thought the demands of the gospel are faith and repentance? Or have I missed something? Are there more than one true gospel out there?
Apparently none, per pope Rufus.

Who do you think the "we" and "us" are in Rom 5:8-10? Each and every person in the world? Was that to whom Paul was writing his letter -- to everyone under the sun? But how can that be since the unrepentant sinners in the world ARE (i.e. currently, right now, presently) enemies of God and not reconciled to Him!? But note in the passage the past tense of the verb "were"!
Rom 1:13 identifies Paul's original audience.
And, yet, I'm the one ignoring context!? Oy, vey! Yet, you ignore entire words and phrases in passages so that you can support your unbiblical presuppositions.
Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies.
Apparently none, per pope Rufus.
You and I were never under the law.
We are not descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
No. Only those whom God saves in the womb, are not of the wicked.
[Psa 51:5 KJV]
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
[Isa 48:8 KJV]
8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time [that] thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.
Are they saved before they believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?
Everyone is under law until saved.
[Rom 2:14 KJV]
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
And the pagan Gentile nations that surrounded God's covenant were more righteous than Israel?
Sin is violating God's law. Evil is the ABSENCE of Good. Show me in Mk 10:18 where Jesus made an exception to who is good and who isn't.
Yes, God can do that to whom He has so chosen for it. He can make anyone believe in Jesus, even while in the womb, because it happens by the Holy Spirit, not by man.
It is the Holy Spirit who does that to everyone who becomes saved. It is not by man.

You contradicted yourself.
In Romans, the phrase 'the law' is referring to Mosaic law.
The phrase 'the law' is mentioned roughly fifty times.
Gentiles have nothing to do with the written law.
David was surely going to heaven!
To heaven to meet the one who was his infant son who died!
Bingo we have a winner.Calvinists seem to think every statement is a doctrinal statement.
Absolutely agree and yes this is indeed a proof text for the certain salvation of all babies and children, among other passages.David was surely going to heaven!
To heaven to meet the one who was his infant son who died!
Saved before the atonement and saved after the atonement?
They were never really sinners because they had the Holy Spirit?
According to 2 Timothy 3:16 all scripture is profitable for doctrine.Bingo we have a winner.
A rather superficial understanding of the scripture is my big take away with regards to those who are under this Calvinist lens.
