I do have a different take on it.

We are physically born dichotomous......Body and soul.

When we are made a new Creation/born again in Christ we become trichotomous.......body, soul and spirit. I do see this as our spirit was dead(spiritually) and is made alive the moment we personally believe/trust in Christ.

And I do believe we are born condemned. This sounds bad on the surface, but it is a blessing in disguise. Whatever is condemned.......is savable! The moment we are born, God condemns us(we have done nothing wrong) that means the moment we are born......we are savable! He can have mercy on ANYONE.....babies, mentally ill and anyone who cannot make a rational choice for Christ.

Probably not a good idea from a good hermeneutics perspective to use David and his emotional outpouring as he contemplates life as a definitive statement regarding fallen man.

That God must regenerate men first before we can believe?

Is a new angle on making God out to be Dr. Frankenstein.

God moved David to write what He wanted written, as He did with all of the Bible.

Yes He did but we still have to understand it correctly and it is not to be interpreted as a definitive doctrinal statement.

If these "Reformed Calvinites" would only read the book of Job and if they could actually understand it, they would realize that this question has been totally resolved in God's favor.

There is no hedge, there is no coercion, there is no robotic programming, Satans claims that God is tilting to Roulette wheel, and that He is a cosmic villain are proven to be bogus, case closed.

Their foolish talk is basically Satans leftovers warmed over.

The Gospels are so beautiful in what it teaches, we too easily miss that what Jesus taught was to Israel,
and about how the Jews should have been living at that time!

It was the Apostle Paul that later on God raised up to teach all believers how all of God's children should walk spiritually.

It is rather obvious that the doctrine never changes and Paul eas one of twelve apostles chosen sent by Jesus preaching the one and only gospel
