It seems disagreement is not from being pentecostal, or charismatic. But no, with being saved there is not automatic production of the spiritual fruit, that is obvious to me from seeing others. Spiritual fruit, which should come as this is the main evidence of being sealed in our salvation, comes with more submission to God with the will of God revealed to us. You have yet to show you have more love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control for evidence to any other of having more submission to God with the will of God revealed. I am not perfect in that. But relative to where I was starting from these fruits are greatly produced in me, which I can give thanks to God for, as I grow to submit further to God's will that I am shown.

Baptism in the Spirit is applied to all believers, with God's Spirit then continually dwelling with them. This happens to start with, and all the growth remains to happen, after that, most probably for life while here.

The above which you quoted was referring to the 11 apostles, no one else, and certainly not us today. Yoy can trace back the origin of this to Luke 24:49 and then read the early Acts verses as you mentioned, and beyond to where the Spirit did fall on the 11, and they spoke in tongues convincing the Jews on the day of Pentecost who were added to the Lord's body and the church was begun in Jerusalem. The 11 then continued to do wonders and miracles, enabling the manifestation of the Spirit on others by the laying on of THEIR hands on them.

Receiving the "gift" (singular) of the Holy Ghost as stated in Acts 2:38 is NOT the same as "gifts" (plural) of the Holy Ghost. One is singular and one is plural and it's a huge difference in meaning. Acts 2:38 means the Spirit itself, the indwelling of the Spirit that abides within each and every person baptized into the body of Christ, the church.

The "gifts" of the Holy Ghost, those listed in 1 Cor 12:8-10, are the miraculous manifestations of the Holy Ghost, commonly referred to as 'gifts', which were enabled by the laying on of the apostle's hands. Read/study again and look at the words and context more carefully.

God gives man freewill to choose whether to believe and pursue what He reveals in His word:

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" Luke 11:13

No, they were not. Cornelious had no hands laid on him. The word of God doesn't teach or say that a Hand must be laid on people to receive only from the Apostles. That is an assumption. This can happen at salvation, After salvation, just like the 11 Apostles in Acts chapter 2, and by laying on of hands.

Yet when the church was started, Paul did not even mention in 1cor chapter 12 when he said, "Now concerning Spiritual gifts I do not want you to be ignorant." Paul did not even mention laying on of hands.
