I am just trying to find proof of Jesus's three-and-a-half or seven-year Ministry. An illustration of Jesus going to the Cross is in Genesis when Abraham takes Isaac up to be sacrificed. Isaac, as a picture of Jesus, was 37 years old at the time his father took him to be sacrificed. People say that the Antichrist is supposed to rule for 7 years. If The Antichrist is in power for 7 years why would Jesus only have a Ministry of three and a half years?

Tiberius regent with Augustus in 11 AD. Counting Tiberius’ reign from 11AD + 15 years would mean John began his ministry in 26 AD. That would mean Jesus started his ministry in 26-27 AD. Luke 3:23. Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age. If Jesus died in 33 AD during the April 3 eclipse that would mean Jesus preached for 7 years, not 3.

It was prophesized. It was the 70th week of Daniel.

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

1. To finish the transgression.

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Mat 5:17)

Rom 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

2. To make an end of sins.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

3. To make reconciliation for iniquity.

Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Luk 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

1Pe 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

4. To bring in everlasting righteousness.

Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Psa 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

5. To seal up the vision and prophecy.

Jhn 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.

Jhn 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

6. To anoint the most Holy.

Mar 1:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

Acts 4:27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

If anyone of these six items were fulfilled, then you are into the 70th week.

I hope this helps.

Daniel's 70 weeks of years began in the Spring of 457 BC.
Jesus was born in the fall (autumn) of 5 BC, turning 30 in the fall of 26 AD.

John began his ministry in the Spring of 26 AD, baptizing in the Jordan.
Jesus was baptized, and after returning from 40 days in the wilderness, began his teaching ministry in the Fall of 26 AD (at the age of 30).
Jesus was identified as the Messiah in the Spring of 27 AD, at the end of the 69th of Daniel's 70 weeks of years, beginning the last week.
Jesus started his preaching ministry in the Fall of 27 AD, after John was cast into prison.
Jesus was crucified in the Spring of 30 AD.
Daniel's 70 weeks of years was complete by the Spring of 34 AD.

Jesus ministered in person for 3.5 years to confirm the new covenant with Judah/Israel for 7 years (one week) as prophesied in Daniel 9:25-27. After Jesus was cut off and sacrifice ceased halfway through that week (3.5 years), he confirmed the new covenant with Israel/Judah for the remaining 3.5 years through his body, ie, the apostles. Then at the end of that 7 year period the age of the nations began when God opened the door to them through Peter who proclaimed the gospel to Cornelius and his associates and baptized them into the kingdom of God (Acts 10).

Thank you, everyone. I will look into your answers. I had not heard that the last 3.5 years were completed by the apostles, but is interesting.

I don't think yo'll find it mentioned anywhere, but if you do let us know. It's my own interpretation.

You spoke truth, yet about what week we are in matters not to me, why?
Because what needed to get done is done by Son once for us all to believe Father and be new in love and mercy to all, in the resurrection, the death is final and over, had to get done first for reconciliation first. That is what Son did on the cross for all to believe in his being risen forever, to see no more fear, not even death to have a sting anymore ever again. Wow, woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7

Luk 13:6
He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
Luk 13:7
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
Luk 13:8
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
Luk 13:9
And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

I see the Mercy overriding wrath, anyone else oh, wow, woe is me to get angry again over things I do not understand what is happening, yet God does and knows all, amazing grace given us to stand in appreciation over being reconciled first, then given (Gift) new life in the risen Son for us to love all, not a few as I did and had in my first birth, trying to be good enough and never could, not perfectly ever, God's mercy could only. Yet, at times thought I was and saw no way, and then turned to God in continue to trust, learning from mistakes made, still learning , I am in process to only trust Father of risen Son for me at least. To see from Father's view through risen Son in thanksgiving and praise
