Salvation is merely by faith=belief in God/GW/the Gospel.

You don't need to work up enough faith to prove/know God exists/GW is true/the Gospel saves.

You cannot have genuine assurance, because you do not infallibly know that you will not go out from us in the future.

Of course, you will not reject salvation as long as you heed the warning in 1JN 2:24.
But I know that no matter I do. God will be with me.

thats my assurance.

but go ahead and place your faith in self. I will not stop you

Huh? That is exactly what I am cautioning you against doing, because neither of us is infallible and can claim absolute certainty, only sufficient confidence/assurance. We should align our faith with GW which says we walk by faith--not by sight or certainty!

Ahh, A typical calvinist know it all.. You read scripture and those who appose you do not.

I got it.. Pump your chest little man. Your nothing

Yeah whatever, You can have your God. Your God does not exist. You will not like it when you meet my God You can tell him why you hated him so much you made him into a God who created evil and then got angry when people did evil..
:D

The throne you shall stand before is great and white.

When you ignore God's words because your bigotry blinds you, you are 1 Corinthians 2:14.
You are fixated on chest thumping and repeat that infantile phrase thinking if it makes me sick to hear it you in your sadist zeal will work it to your advantage.

As expected.

By the way boy, you're talking to an actual real life grown WOMAN!
Since the pseudonym MeowFlower sounds masculine in your neck of the woods you again and finally stand corrected.

Enjoy your life. We won't speak again. Punks are a warning, not a blessing.

By his reply to this your post you may infer EG is of the false ideology salvation is his license to sin.
"He knows no matter what I do.. "

Only Holy Spirit changes that natural mind. Not us. No matter how much we post in rebuttal of their falsehoods .

Forced? No.

I'll make it plain.

Sovereign Dominion God says he sets your steps while you plan your way.

It does not matter that your ego insists you overcome that by choice.
God may set my steps according to his word, but I wander off the path daily.

Warning me against what? Trusting God?

Listen.

John said they were never of us, that means they were never saved.

to use this passage to support that eternal security in Christ or OSAS is false. Is just plain false. You can not use it. Because the people who left never had true faith.. they did not get saved. Then lose it.

John made it clear. IF THEY WERE OF US, THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE LEFT.

I will be be their bud. I placed my eternity in the hands of a loving God.

You’re the one pumping your chest my friend. I became like the tax collector. I am sick of hearing people pump themselves up as special and condemning others to hell when God never gave them a chance. And claiming God is the author of evil
As expected.

You have a purple avatar. That is masculine. I stand corrected? Maam, you have way to much prdie to be trying to correct anyone else.

Enjoy your life. We won't speak again. Punks are a warning, not a blessing.
I will pray for you. Like all the others who came into this chatroom before you with their arrogant pride who makes God out to be a God of evil not a god of love.

You not talking to me again is a blessing in my eyes. But sad that you will not take correction. But that will be up to God

You'll be there before the Great White Throne?
I take you at your word. You know who you are.

"The great white throne judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15 and is the final judgment prior to the lost being cast into the lake of fire."

When you POE Christian sites it will help in future if you actually know what the Bible teaches.

FYI, Christians stand before the Bema seat.

Now,you will be ignored. Admitted POE's save Christians time from posting to their anti-Bible bait.

What you were warning ME of:

"go ahead and place your faith in self. I will not stop you"

Again, neither of us is infallible and can claim absolute certainty, only sufficient confidence/assurance, so we should align our faith with GW which says we walk by faith--not by sight or certainty!

Please read posts more carefully before dashing off a reply, because communicating clearly, concisely and completely is challenging enough as it is without being sloppy. Thanks.

Lol

My comment stil stands. You are against OSAS. Or more importantly against the fact that God saves a person completely when he saves them, they can not lose what God has given them.

so if you deny thi, you are trusting self. Not God.. Even if it is the fact that you trust that you will not walk away. Because you are trusting in your power to keep you in christ. Not Gods power to keep you in him

No, you are still being sloppy.
I am against saying God dehumanizes folks when they accept what He gives them,
and I am for saying that saved folks remain free to reject grace if they are foolish enough to do so,
which is called apostasy and is akin to what Jesus calls being callous.
I am also against viewing volition/faith as a meritorious power or gift and
for viewing it as what makes folks morally accountable and the POS not a predestined farce.

No i will not. Because I am not condemned. Why? Because I looked to the cross. And recieved his salvation. Based on his work not mine

Amen, you’re right it is. I will be at the bema seat. NOT the great white.

Which one will you be at?

Well thank you for doing what so many do. And assuming you know me./ Talk about sticking your foot in your mouth. Ask anyone here who knows me, I know who will be at one judgment (delievered to God) and who will not

Now,you will be ignored. Admitted POE's save Christians time from posting to their anti-Bible bait.[/QUOTE]like I said ignore me.. Its on you.. No sweat of my back. You proved what i was saying, but run,, run like they all do

Nope

My case is that God is omniscient, He knows who has true faith and who does not. And he will nto save anyone he knows will walk away because they lack faith.

But you want to serve self not god. Then deny it

Get real man.. trust God not yourself

Thanks for clarifying that your case or focus is on God's omniscience, which prompts me to say the following:

God’s omnipotence is equivalent to His omniscience. Jeremiah wrote that “God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom.” (JR 10:12) Many NT passages refer to God as the source of true wisdom (e.g., ACTS 6:3, 1CR 1:25, CL 2:2-3, JM 1:5). God’s infinitely superior knowledge is extolled in Romans 11:33-34 (echoing IS 40:13-14) and Daniel 2:20-23.

Omniscience includes knowledge of people’s thoughts (PS 94:11, MT 12:25) and the foreknowledge of events (ACTS 2:23, RM 8:29, 11:2, 1PT 1:2). Some people think that God even knows what a person will be/do before that person exists (JR 1:5). If this view is correct, it must be maintained that God’s foreknowledge does not predetermine a person’s spiritual choice regarding the satisfaction of God’s requirement for salvation or else human moral responsibility would be abrogated and God would be to blame for sin.

I find it simpler and more in keeping with God's all-lovingness and righteousness to think that God merely tweaks the river of history occasionally to keep if flowing in the direction He intends but allows the fish to swim in the eddies as they wish.

lol. Talk about a long windead rant that means nothing

THEY WERE NEVER OF US.

You claim they were saved, and they willingly gave it up
The apostle John says you are wrong.

I will go with John.
