The Hebrews verse isn't referring to Satan and his angels.
God hardened Pharaohs heart,as he tells us in Exodus. Pharaohs heart was hard already. God hardened it so he would not concede to the demands of God via Moses I.eet my people go.
Even if pharaoh wanted to God insured he could not.
“Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

There is a difference between being 'The, Son of God.
And, being 'A' son of God.
Issac was Abraham's unique son... while Abraham had other sons.
The Bible called angels 'sons of God.'

By God revealing and setting an example, showing a pattern He works within.
Gnosis is simply having academic knowledge of Scripture.
Epignosis is the same knowledge that the Spirit gives life and meaning to one's own insight and experience

it’s not only what God has done and does constantly in us it’s also us responding to his word of instruction it’s not “ God does everything for me “ it’s “ he makes me able to do all I need to in Christ “

they know that God is God , they know that Jesus is lord and the redeemer but they chose to serve his enemy and now the presence of God is a reminder of thier coming judgement
It doesn’t save us to say “ God exists “ it saves us when we repent and believe him and apply his word like James says a little before that

Like I said, the Masoretic Text calls angels the sons of God, the LXX doesn't. Both are bibles. Sons are begotten, angels aren't

Gnosis to the gnostics was esoteric knowledge revealed only to the elect. It deviated so much from scripture they had to make their own writings.
God fears nothing.
He wants to transform us into His image by means of the Spirit and truth.
So? When we are becoming more like Him?
We will initially fear what he does not fear, as He takes us into realms where we must stop being afraid of what He wants us to see as He does.
God must take us through what we fear as to undo our old way of thinking, to find ourselves being transformed into not fearing what He does not fear. It's the only way we can become more and more like Him in our thinking.
2 Corinthians 3:18
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed
into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
That is why, if we are ever to outgrow spiritual immaturity (some never do) we must ultimately find good teachers whom God has given understanding of sound doctrine. It must be accurate if we are ever to possess the needed right thinking when God takes us through what we will naturally fear, only to discover who and what He is in that same situation.
We should be wary of dumb and proud ones who confidently profess what they do not understand.
They may be book smart. Know more "facts" than you do. But, they don't know what is to be known to become transformed.
