i've actually written a couple songs.

mostly one stanza, unfinished pieces.
ah, here we go:

whatever you do, don't ever forget.
the LORD is your help, he will keep you.
safe from all harm, safe in his arms,
you he will protect, from all doubt,
that is too much for you.

he will keep you, safe in his arms,
and will protect you, from all harm
save you from sin, clear doubts,
he will be with you, through the dark parts,
living inside, deep in your heart.

the LORD will protect you, from the lie,
when you have heartbreak, he will be there,
protecting you, from the lies that he is not true,
and when all doubts, surround you,
he will help you, to stand up to the lie.

and when all around you living in sin,
invite you to come, and join in,
he may give you, strength to say no,
I will not partake, will stay free of this.
for the LORD is with me, all of the lies,
and is with me, giving me strength

hope you like it. it goes to a tune, but I cannot write music yet.

I believe that i had a song whose tune I was copying when i wrote it, but not anymore.
i have written one to yurgen's tune by andrew peterson or whoever.
