Again though, why would he want or need to do that (considering the particular Person we are talking about here, what advantage could there possibly be for Him to do so)
There are. The Bible doesn't try to hide what God does from us (even the things that would make Him look better in our eyes if it did), nor does it do so with what people are truly like, even the people who are typically held up to us by the Bible as heroes (so to speak) of the faith.

I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. I'm trying to find common ground and identify your basis for truth. How do you establish what is true and what is false?
And for good reason. The source of truth separates what is true from what is false. Can you please share?
Every single person I have ever known who felt like that, they all spend their time deciding what everybody around them should do, driving themselves nuts trying to get everybody to do it, and getting very frustrated when the people around them do not follow their advice.
