Straws?

I was in Old Town San Diego CA a few weeks ago. We ate a couple of times there in a Mexican restaurant and got plastic straws. I also got a plastic straw at a McDonalds about 30 minutes north of Chula Vista CA.

Must be a Long Beach thing. I don’t go out at all, so I just here my mothers complaints.

Honestly, I feel like I’m running a little on empty. I did listen to 1 Peter to the beginning of revelation last night, so that was nice but I was in a relationship where we kept breaking up and getting back together and it was just wrecking my mind. I’m still attached but want to just focus on God again. It’s hard to balance God and a relationship.

I don't know anything about the laws in CA but was surprised when not only did the restaurants have plastic straws, but they gave them to me without me having to ask for them.

that is crazy. well, I guess I should go out more cause maybe like 4 years ago or maybe longer than that they started the whole paper straw policy at a bunch of places and I was not a fan.

In my travels there have been places where they won't give you a straw unless you ask for one, which is kind of bothersome because the server is usually long gone before you realize you don't have a straw and want one. I know people in liberal states who carry around their own metal straws...

it’s strange here. I grew up in Orange County all the way up until 2014 and when I lived there it was a red county up until I moved to Long Beach. Then it turned blue. It got bad quick over there. I don’t think I remember seeing homeless there and now they are everywhere.
