Hey CC! Since it's a stressful week for us Americans, I thought it would be fun to lighten up the mood a bit! Wouldn't it be funny if we had a little CC mascot or 'President' of our own? Vote for your CC President now (unofficially; just for fun!) The voting ends in four days. Make this fun and you all can add little stories to the characters in the thread. Make it interesting! Will there be a third party? What gossip will come out? Who are the VP picks? I leave that up to you! I hope it's fun! I've had fun making this already haha. I picked generic looking animals so ya'll can add pictures of any brown labs or orange cats to add to the stories.

This is Champ and he's running for the Blue Party. He loves chasing squirrels, hunting, and digging lots of holes. Champ graduated from Yell University, where he majored in marking fire hydrants. He believes that everyone should have at least one hour a day to run around and play. Champ is always getting into something especially garbage. Although he is sometimes distracted, Champ's heart is in the right place.

Champs for Champ!

Pumpkin is a cat like no other. Running for the Red Party, Pumpkin would like for you to know that he's the best and most intelligent cat there is! Why wouldn't you vote for him? He enjoys sleeping, making biscuits, and starring in podcasts. From his humble roots of working at McDonalds, Pumpkin's dream for the future is to make CC the best forum there is! CC should come first before all forums. He will work hard to make that happen! Even though Pumpkin's ego can get him into trouble at times, he is committed to working hard.

Make CC Great Again!

This is a hard thing for me...

I think both parties are spoiled brats today, but I consider myself a conservative, not a liberal.

But I have to vote for Champ. Pumpkin just looks too much like he is only interested in himself and what he can get out of it, not what he can do for anybody else. Champ looks like he is up for a good time, no matter who benefits more or less.

He works hard.. I like Pumpkin!

This is difficult. I like both.

Does this qualify as a paradox? 🤔

A lynx is a feline, and also very indisposed to w*rking hard.

I mention this because I definitely do not want to be elected. It looks like a hard job and a lot of w*rk.

Okay, you have a good point there.

Reminds me of the Mark Twain book, a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court. The Connecticut Yankees best friend said all royalty should be replaced with cats. Pretty much for the same reason you cited.

I was gonna do a write-in, so voted thusly, then saw that this was a dog against a cat. The cat will just get into office and then use its position to turn a few cans of tuna into a mountain of cans of tuna (for itself). I vote for the dog, Champ. He'll provide comfort and companionship to the voters and let us have the honor of petting him and scratching him behind the ears.

I think you forgot to mention that, although Champ looks brown, he is really black...

I think it's rigged. I mean when on candidate is named Champ isn't that like subliminal messaging that he's going to win no matter what. Besides dogs rule and cats drool (or at least obsessively lick themselves). I'm gonna suggest my pup Iris for Champ's vice president. She's great at keeping watch and defending her borders and will raise the alarm as soon as she detects anything not right.

Think about it, the only way a cat could win over a dog would be through a massive number of fraudulent ballots. 1730581793636.png The cat must be a demonrat cat.

Yep well shepherd mix. I think there's a purebred black shepherd that lives down the road though
I had one. We named her Labet(the beast in french) every time i let her out at night shivers would go up her spine the neighbours were terrified. What is it about dogs you cant see in the dark and scary names? no one is scared of fawn dog named ruffles!
