It did. There's evidence from Jewish historians to dispute the number but it did happen. The word holocaust means "burnt sacrifice" (or offering by fire). A lot of innocent people were sacrificed in Germany to pave the way for the unchallenged holocaust of innocent Palestinians we're seeing today.
Generally? Ok, two parties agree to terms and then blood is shed ratifying the agreement. Life is in the blood so the shedding of blood represents a life pact or an oath until death (e.g., "
If I don't fulfill my part of the agreement may my blood be shed").
Examples of cut covenants include Genesis 15 when The Almighty told Abraham to split the animals in half as His spirit passed through them in the form of a flaming rod (representing all men) and a fiery oven (representing all women). Another example of a cut covenant is a traditional marriage covenant that includes the splitting of the wife and the shedding of blood. Another example includes the covenant at MT. Sinai with the blood sprinkled on all the Israelites in attendance as well as on the articles of the covenant.
It IS the current state that wants war. It is indeed. And you misunderstand me a bit. The scriptures say
when they enter into the land THERE WILL BE PEACE. It doesn't say they'll strive for peace for a while. It doesn't say they'll eventually have peace. It doesn't say they'll reluctantly war but still want peace. It says they will
live safely in unwalled villages. There will be Peace.
You have to realize that because the Son of the living God will be here in all His glory, people will be absolutely terrified. The resurrection of the dead will have occurred so people will be freaking out. And no one will want to stand against Him after He decimates the armies of the nations with a word. So when He leads His people (the fully assembled house, born in a day) into the land there won't be any confrontation or contention for what is His. The people will have absolutely nothing to fear from anyone.
Contrast that with:
- A people in the land constantly building walls and barriers
- A people without a Messiah
- A people constantly warring
- A people claiming they're constantly fearing their neighbors
They just don't fit, Rose.
It does say that. After The Messiah is there with the people. Until then, I see man's hand at work, and I don't make men into gods. I'll ask you the same question I asked the other person for thought. Do you really think The Almighty needs man's inventions to cause His land to bloom? Israeli technology pumps water into the area but shut off that technology (or destroy their power plant) and it will dry up again.
I explained this a while back with the example of Abraham, Sarah, and the promised seed. The Almighty doesn't need man's help to fulfill His word.
Making statements like "
Arab nations aren't even at peace with each other" assumes they should be?? And why should they, because they're the same ethnicity? They're
different nations. Have all White nations been at peace with each other throughout history? Have all Asian nations been at peace with each other? African nations? You just mentioned the holocaust which was between Jewish and German peoples who likely shared the same European ethnicity. So what are you even saying here?
Regardless, it's not a lie, you just haven't been exposed to the history (or you have but refuse to believe it). Here's a still of a very old documentary film showing a Jewish man on the left and an Arab man on the right walking downstairs. Apparently, they were acquainted with each other in this black-and-white film (which can be dated as early as 1880).

In 638 CE, [Musim] Caliph Umar allowed Jews to reenter Jerusalem and settle around the Western Wall. He also gave Jewish families their own area in Jerusalem, which is now the Jewish Quarter of the Old City - History Today
Here's an excerpt from the article "
Jerusalem: An Ancient City of Harmony":
History points to the fact that the Muslims were very welcoming of the Jews in Jerusalem and Palestine. In fact, a preserved Judeo-Arabic text writes apocryphally that Hazrat Umar (ra) reopened Jerusalem to the Jews: ‘So every Muslim who came was in town or valley, and there came with them a group of Jews. Then he (ʿUmar) ordered them to sweep the holy place (the Temple site) and to cleanse it… After this, the Jews sent word to all the rest of the Jews in Palestine to inform them of the agreement that ʿUmar had made with them… Then ʿUmar said, “Where would you wish to live in the city?” “In the southern part,” they replied. And that is now the Market of the Jews. The aim of their request was to be near the Temple Mount and its gates and likewise be near the water of Silwan for ritual bathing. The Commander of the Faithful granted this to them.’

And here's another article titled
Before Zionism: The Shared Life of Jews and Palestinians
"
Before the advent of Zionism and Arab nationalism, Jews and Palestinians lived in peace in the holy land. Menachem Klein’s new book maps out an oft-forgotten history of Israel/Palestine, and offers some guidance on how we may go back to that time."
In 638 CE, the Islamic Caliphate extended its dominion to Jerusalem.[14] With the Arab conquest of the region, Jews were allowed back into the city.[15] The majority population of Jerusalem during the time of Arab conquest was Christian.[16] In the aftermath the process of cultural Arabization and Islamization took place, combining immigration to Palestine with the adoption of Arabic language and conversion of a part of the local population to Islam.

All one has to do is look. It's not hard to find. The Jewish education system lied to many people about the history of the two groups.

and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them.
