Kevin Taylor said "this news has come as a great shock to our church and school community." Seriously? Either he's the most naive man on the planet or he's covering the church's butt so attendance won't be hurt. In the times we live in, it's not shocking at all. Every day someone else gets busted; and it's always the last one you'd suspect.
Seriously? The last one you would expect? Every megachurch should be at the top of the list of who you suspect. The church is supposed to be a mustard plant, a small herb, but if it grows into a great tree where the birds that steal the word of God can roost you know you have something abnormal and Satanic. These churches get this big because the Freemasons are on the board of directors, donate large funds, and steer the church.

This may be a little off as this man is not a "pastor" but he sure did lead a whole lot of people into disaster with his attempt at being a Social Justice Warrior. I am talking about Lebron James who has railed against the supposed racism of the US due to our history of slavery while at the same time his fortune is built on slave labor making the NBA merch they sell in the US. Not only so, this is the guy who said "there ain't no party like a Diddy party" and "Diddy is my boy". We now know those parties involved the human trafficking of children as sex slaves. So the next time you are listening to one of these self righteous SJW's provoking you to go commit felonies, just remember Lebron, a modern day Plantation owner of slaves, and certainly one of the loudest hypocrites on the planet.

Honestly, what happened to this pastor might have been the best thing to happen to him. God is bringing to his attention the things he shouldn't have done and what God doesn't want him to continue doing. This gives him the opportunity to turn to the Lord for help in overcoming this.
If Christians didn't call this to attention and God didn't make him face the consequences, he would still be committing these sins. Is that what you want?

I think there are several takeaways here for all of us.
First, "the picture perfect" marriage being acted out on social media -- demonstrates how hypocrites put on a mask and play a part. Do not be deceived, we need to learn to listen to the Spirit and heed our spirit.
Second of course is this sex addiction that impacts so many. I was saved when I was 12 years old. At that time girls had no impact on the things I did, how I dressed, or what I wanted from life. But I could see so many teenagers and college kids acting like idiots because of girls. I thought that was stupid. I wanted the Lord to always be the governing concern for me.
But it wasn't just the boys, the girls were cute and pretty, but many went into makeup and looked phony, painting on a mask. Sure, they could cause you to turn your head, but so would a corpse all painted up.
Then at the church I came to appreciate the "mama bears", these are women who are married, have kids, and you know immediately you don't mess with them. They aren't mean, or nasty, but they had the Lord's authority and they were in complete control of the family. Very few women ever get to this level, most were phony while dating, their husbands discover they are simply card board cutouts of a real person, and the marriage crashes and burns.
In the church there were also the matriarchs, the ones in their sixties or seventies or eighties. These women were loved, they had seen it all, you could talk to them, pray with them, and they truly cared for the things that concerned you.

I think God had him exposed publicly because he was a Christian leader. You know from the Bible that God puts them to a higher standard. Look at what happened to Moses. He slipped up and wasn't allowed to enter the promised land along with everyone else. Also King David never got away with sin and people knew it.
That is the same thing that happened here. This pastor was made an example of as a warning that no Christian can continue to sin and get away with it.
