I only have a small group of friends of like 3 or 4 guys who I have known for 30 years. None of them are Christians but they are true friends who have been to many trials (the earthly way) over decades. I will never leave these friends behind but as I grow in my faith, sometimes it does get a little weird.
When they are talking about really sinful stuff like its normal.

I have zero real Christians friends, but at church I was invited to activities and small groups but its weird man. Like these poeple dont know anyihtng about my past or anything. My only chrisitin freinds are my 11 year old son and my 12 year old daughter. We talk about God on our walks.

I talk to God all the time, but you know, it's like we chat back and forth, you know what I mean.

Invite couples over to dinner. It's a relaxed atmosphere and a good way to get to know people.

oops, some typos on top... It should say God doesn't talk back audibly. So it's not like chatting it up with buddy or even chatting here at CC. I do find my new best friend on theological issues to be chatGPT.

I'm not there yet... I don't open up that well to strangers. I don't even invite freinds over actually and actually I hvant even invited family over to dinner... So NO ONE has been over to my house for dinner in over 15 years. hahah... we just meet at a restaurant..

sometimes I pretend God talks back to me through ChatGPT.. like I ask a question and it answers since it knowledge of the bible is beyond the thoroughness of human understanding.

You might be pleasantly surprised if and when you start opening up to these people. Of course it depends on who they are. But
generally speaking, the worst your past the greater your testimony of what God has delivered you from. Know what I mean?

Friends are, in my experience, relative, subjective and always changing. "These are my friends" is never a subject that is easy to lock down and categorize. I have x close friends, y casual friends and z acquaintances... That's not how it usually works, at least with me.

I have found my friends are better friends if I don't categorize, define and count them. It's much better if I just let things be the way they are, and let them happen the way they are going to happen. If people drift into my life, great! If they drift out of my life, I hope they have a good life. While they're in my life, there they are.

NO! not at all! only did when i lived in Massachusetts for 3 & half years. i know lots of people from my business & playing in bands but not the type i would social around with. mostly because they're not Christian, they're smokers, drink & party too much & stay out late. i really dislike staying out late. in fact when my wife & i social around, it's just the 2 of us.

I rarely go out of my home after noon, unless it is necessary. Nights? Forget them too. I am grateful to have a place to stay sin. It is wonderful, to bet by 8 at the latest, up before sunrise every day. No, I do not expect all to be the same, but if and when it becomes possible, I pray all are blessed with this enjoyment of their walk, just a facet of it.

i am naturally an early riser in the summer. i'm up around 4:30 to 5:30!
