They weren't called Christians till Antioch, but I get your meaning. Judas was very much a follower of Christ, a real, though not true disciple. There is nothing in scripture to suggest that he didn't share with the other disciples in the power gifted by Christ to cast out demons etc. Only to eventually have Satan enter into himself. David fell into adultery murder and spiritual blindness. Solomon completely lost his way. Peter walked on water and then thrice denied Him. The once brightest of Gods created beings is now the prince of darkness.
Are there modern day Pharisees among us, oh for certain. But you're not allowed to discuss that here.
Everyone will believe and behave as that see fit till Christ comes to sort it all out. I see no point in hindering anyones progress down whatever path they choose. I think we may be well past the shouting from the rooftops stage of our journey and closer to running for the hills. So few pearls, so many swine.

If TRIBULATION Began on OCT 2 - DId We Just Miss the Pre-trib Rapture??????
1. UN issued what they have called the most important covenant of this generation. The Pact for the Future. This agreement changes the way the UN will govern the world.
2. This happened at the same time as the solar eclipse indicating a judgment on the world.
One change is to reduce the power of the veto by the security council indicating that the US may no longer be able to protect Israel or themselves.
I wasn't personally expecting a pre trib rapture. There are other possibilities, other potential timelines, other interpretations of Scripture. A multitude of eschatological viewpoints and near as many failed prophecies and disgraced prophets to go along with them. My brothers in Christ can subscribe to whatever end times viewpoint they desire, I've got mine too, go figure. I just wish we would all do more and better research. More digestion, less regurgitation.
Yes, the Bible doesn't say "pre trib" it says Philadelphia will be kept from the hour of trial. Also the term tribulation is very poor choice of terms since all believers go through tribulation. Think about all the martyrs during the church age. Luke 12 describes a wedding that takes place before the Lord returns to those servants waiting and watching for Him at the Father's house.
To understand that we need to understand the church age and when it ends. During the church age we are witnessing to others concerning the Lord Jesus and urging them to choose Jesus. Ultimately the whole world chooses the Antichrist. That is the "wedding", the covenant that ends this age and this is what the Lord told us. He came in His father's name and they rejected Him but later one will come in his own name and him they will choose. That is why this "Pact for the future" ends the church age. It is the official rejection of Jesus, Christians and Israel by the world.
Also Matthew 25 talks about the ten virgins and the midnight cry that the Bridegroom cometh. I believe that midnight cry is a reference to the Feast of Trumpets which announces the coming of the Messiah and the coming of the king with the cry of trumpet blasts.
Also the Lord said that the time was shortened otherwise no flesh would survive. This period is seven years long, that is a legal contract and cannot be shortened. However, the time of intense persecution and trial, that is not a full seven years. That is why at the moment it doesn't seem like we are in the tribulation.

There are some here who believe Israel does no wrong ever ( the most moral army, discriminate bombing etc.,) and yet when the atrocities that they do in fact commit are put forward, which are verifiable, we receive red x's of called anti-semite etc., etc.,
Maybe you should accept the fact that that little country is a proxy for US imperialism in the area no more and no less.

Well that is not me. The truth is that atrocities ARE being committed, and there is MASSIVE wrongdoing by all parties.

Put a new Christian in the wrong church and they will learn a lot of things not found or supported by scripture and has one has to spend years undoing the damage to learn the truth unless one is spiritually and intellectually lazy and prefers to be deceived.
