I don't know how meaningful this is to anyone who doesn't understand Finnish (so roughly 100% of you, I guess). But this is a regular Finnish hymn that one might sing in church, only it's arranged in metal/hard rock style. I'll post a quick translation (basically tidied-up autotranslate) below.

I am a shattered jar of clay
Piece by piece, broken away
I just wondered and cried
Would not have wanted to break
You, Lord, crushed me
But you saved all the pieces
So much you loved me
You wanted something completely new
Give the clay a new shape
Make me a new jar
Thereby showing your love
Again using what was broken
I want to tell the broken ones
No shards are thrown away
Even cheap clay is precious
In the hands of the Master (2x)
That is a great idea, I am so glad I read this post.

Sorry, but I find that Christian metal, Christian rap and other similar nonsense to have no Spiritual value, regardless of the words in the song.

How can one find peace and tranquility praising, and focusing on the Lord in the midst of this disrespectful "noise"? The beat and rhtym (if you can call it that) is demonic, period.

"Nonsense" subjective
"No spiritual value" subjective
"Disrespectful noise" subjective
"Demonic" subjective

I see you sharing nothing but opinion, which you have a right to your own opinion. But tell me, why are Your subjective opinions right for everyone else? Why does your inability to see what others Can see make everyone else wrong? Why does your lack of appreciation of the music deem it demonic? What is "disrespectful" about it? A collection of beats and notes is disrespectful? To who? How? What makes one collection of beats and notes good and another demonic?

Are you the standard? Do you alone know what is good and what is bad for everyone else? Should people be looking to you for how to live? To know the difference between right and wrong? Are you the true Savior?

The Bible Discission Forum is the best place for someone like you. They love to argue and trash others. Tell everyone they're wrong and stand tall upon their high horses and boast proudly of their own intellectual and spiritual merits and expect others to follow behind them or suffer personal and spiritual attacks. You'd fit in perfectly going by the few threads of yours that you've posted so far. The News Forum is another place you could fit in if you're into politics. Or the Conspiracy Theory forum if you're a conspiracy theorist. There you can condescend to those that don't believe you.

Ha Ha... you just wasted alot of time saying nothing with your hateful rhetoric.

My comment was purely how I feel about that garbage called music, and not as a guide for anyone else to go by, nor did I trash anyone.

Sadly, you are an intellectual idiot. Do you feel better about yourself now? GET OFF MY CASE, ACE...

So if I question you it's "hateful rhetoric"? How woke of you!

"Nonsense"
"No spiritual value"
"Disrespectful noise"
"Demonic"
If this is what you think of the music then I wonder what you think of the people who listen to it? I think it's safe to assume nothing positive. Definitely doesn't trash the musicians or fans by calling it demonic.

"Intellectual idiot" 😂 wow. You were made for the BDF. You get challenged and resort to name calling and putting down someone's intellect why dodging every question asked. But I'M the intellectual idiot 😂😂😂 But let me guess, you aren't trashing me, right?
Thanks for the laughs.
But of course the biggest laugh... "get off my case, ace" and in all caps 😂😂

Well Mr. Intellectual, have you not realized you are on a public forum where people have every right to respond to what you say? In fact it's expected.
And when you came into a thread to not only post an unpopular opinion on the topic, but an inflammatory one, do you think it's wrong people respond by questioning you? In what world is it that you willingly enter a place to trash something people hold a value to and Not expect a response?

One last thing.
"It is demonic 'period' " is an example of a statement that is not being said subjectively, but as a fact for everyone.
"I believe it is demonic" is an example of a subjective opinion that states "this is simply my view but I'm not putting it on others".
Big difference Mr. Intellectual. You think yourself smarter than me, how have you not figured out the difference?
Declare something inflammatory as fact, flip flop and call it opinion, and when questioned resort to personal attacks on their intellect rather than dealing with the questions presented. Thank you for proving my assumptions about you 100% correct. You are dismissed.

Howdy and welc...

Wait, I can't honestly welcome this drivel.

Checking your post history real quick, and it seems you came to this forum to disparage everyone. Oh goody. We certainly need more of THAT around here. Can't get enough insults, you betcha!

Usually I say "Howdy and welcome to the forum" or something like that to newcomers. But in this case you have been marked as a troll. May you find peace wherever you wind up. Good luck, you'll need it.

I know some have implied there's already "too many posts" about Skillet, but I truly don't care. They're my favorite band that manages to be brutally honest about their faith, but also their struggles and sometimes how insane it is, trying to reconcile both. I relate to that a lot every day, often feeling like I'm trapped in a spiritual version of the Matrix. Anyway, here's the final single from their upcoming album Revolution, due out November 1st. I think you'll be glad for the on-screen lyrics, because sometimes John Cooper sings so fast I can't keep up with him. Listen with an open heart, and I think you'll love it.
