The story of Elijah and the ravens is one of my favourite stories (1st Kings 17). It is proof of God's provision and how the Lord looks after his own as well as how God will put people in the right place at the right time (destiny helpers).
Ravens are omnivorous and feed on anything, and to think that these birds faithfully delivered the meat and bread without eating it during drought amazes me. Today I decree and declare that whatever is meant for you will find you, your raven will not eat what's yours, your raven will locate you , your raven will obey the word of the Lord. Amen!

It worked until the stream dried up.
Then look at where he went and what happened. Geography plays a key role in Elijah's life.

To this day the roof of Elijah's cave on Mt Carmel is marble from the day Fire fell from the sky...a stark contrast of the black basalt that is everywhere else in this area. The white marble stands out.

True ! But the Lord directed him to the woman who fed him until it was time to leave. Understanding seasons is important, time for him to leave the cave was over and since Elijah walked in obedience the Lord led him to the woman.
It is important to walk in obedience, even if I find it difficult sometimes, God's grace is sufficient. Blessings

I ran into a Raven on top of a Scottish Mountain, they're the most intelligent, friendly and awesome birds. Thanks for this reminder of God's provision. :)

Whats interesting about this is. 1 kings chapter 17

God had Elijah go to Zidon. Which is Lebanon of today.

The woman who fed Elijah, was symbolic of God's Elect.

Queen jezebel Came from Zidon.

Later on, a angel fed Elijah on his way to Mount Sinai.

God protects his own.
Elijah had task to accomplish. God saw him through.

When Satan comes in his role as antichrist, 6th Trump, God will deliver those who have seal of God., revelation chapter 7.

2 Thessalonians chapter 2

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusioms, that they should believe a Lie.

Those who refuse to study sound doctrine. Or chasing after false shepherd's. Who teach tradition of men and false doctrine.

Those who have gospel armor of Ephesians chapter 6 will not worship antichrist near future.
