i'm not attending church steadily, haven't been since covid. totally, i wish i was. i certainly tried a bunch but they are boring. here's the story on a church i last attended on Sep 1st: 3 times during the service the pastor said, "it's in the Bible in........ no, it's over in......well it's in the Bible somewhere"!!! holy heavens, you're a pastor? from 2009 til 2016, i also tried a bunch of churches, a lot of them. nothing doing! the church i attended from 2017 til 2020, had the same rhythm pattern for every song. now that's sad. so i keep listening & or watching: Uceff, Rogers, Prince, C Stanley, Jeffres, MacGee, Hutchins, Swindoll, C Smith, K Hagin, Jeremiah, Hibbs, Colsen, C. Kapps, W Kroll, G Lawrie & a bunch of others.
Just curious. What is your expectations from a church service? How do you prepare for each service?

Most churches proved during Covid lockdowns that attendance is optional.
Upon the first day of the week the disciples came together to break bread. That's not an option; they met as the body of Christ, which is the church, to remember the Lord and partake of the Lord's supper in his remembrance. They physically came together (Acts 20:7). And too, Hebrews 10:25 states "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is". Here too it appears that assembling together as the church is important and should not be taken lightly.

my expectation is what every Christian's expectation should be: listening to a real "teacher-preacher" pastor. not someone fumbling around. not bragging, but i have 311 Bible verses memorized & i can do a lot better job than the local pastors.

you shouldn't tell someone: "which i know you have never properly understood" "ever". you don't know me & you don't know what i know. consider another friendly statement.
OK. You probably don't know and never will unless you hear Chronister.
Is that any better?

Titus 1:16
They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good. (NIV)

I know a young man who is probably the absolute worst speaker in the world. On the surface, if you encountered him from the point of view "He ain't got no reason to be speaking about Christ", and started criticizing his delivery, you would never get the blessing of his spoken word of God.

So you have memorized 311 verses, and you say that you can a better job than the local pastors. Memorize this verse.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (KJV)

I listen to the message being preached, not to how well it is delivered. I have never attended a church service where God didn't speak to me through to message delivered.

great for you. in your area, maybe true. not here. even in the 18th century, John Bunyan was passing thru & skipped over because he sensed a dark spiritual cloud. many people say what i say about this area. i listen intently. don't assume it's me. this are is terrible abut having real teacher preachers. no one wants to hear 500 words that says nearly nothing. we had 1 for a short while, from 1999 to 2009! there was an issue concerning church policy so the pastor upped & left.

The title alone is false.
All Bodies Resurrected? Yes! Jesus will resurrect all Animals and Humans!
Imagine animals with no soul by the billions of trillions being resurrected at once.
The only reason I posted this is because you recommended it as the best, not because I wanted to criticize you. :)

Ohhhhh. The part about animals being created with the breath of Life, an eternal soul and true free will and therefore true life is making your head hurt?

Sorry. Not really fake sorry.

Well then you DEFINITELY don't want to hear the part about New Jerusalem being
a cubic hyperspace with fractal infinite dimensions and infinite space with infinite
resources and time without end.

Yes, I am sick of all of the false Pastors out there. Deception is as a punishment for those who choose to follow the crowd of what is popular, rather than following the truth found in their Bible.

Satan counts on our biblical ignorance (or willful ignorance) to capture our souls. By not knowing the Bible, we voluntarily make ourselves willing targets of Satan to destroy us.

I do not mean to laugh, but some of the false beliefs people follow are actually retarded, and shows how gullible people truly are, like this one;

I read about a preacher who started a church with a belief system based on this scripture:
MATTHEW 18:2-4 (KJV)
2 And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

So, this "Pastor" actually convinced his congregation to wear diapers under their clothes, and they obeyed! How can any human being with a half of a brain fall for something as insane as this?

What if this Pastor encouraged them to potty on themselves to be more like babes? If so, I can tell you, they had more than itching ears.

NO, THIS IS NOT A JOKE, but it is as funny as one.

It is sad to think how the modern church has turned into a corrupt three ring circus, no wonder people are turning away from it and God. BABES.jpg

I'm rather disappointed that you didn't know the breath of life wasn't put into the animals & they don't have a living soul.

Gen. 1:
20Then God said, “Let the waters [ab]teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth [ac]in the open [ad]expanse of the heavens.” 21And God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind; and God saw that it was good. 22God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
24Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to [ae]their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to [af]their kind”; and it was so. 25God made the animals of the earth according to [ag]their kind, and the livestock according to [ah]their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.

2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Man's soul was God breathed. No other creation was done that way.
