Point out that people hating on politicians are a dime a dozen, there will always be a market for your services. Also consider marketing downstream, the press is always looking for a story, the more sensational and graphic the better. Think about selling the movie rights. Also, fight back when they treat you badly. Is the plan to put you out in the open on a roof and then shoot you after the deed is done? In that case shoot back at them. Finally, have fun, the real excitement is in playing the game.

You give these assassins too much credit, they can't get involved with someone who walks in off the streets, how do you know it isn't a sting?
