They are the whole Gospel of John, particularly Jesus' seven "I AM" claims that identify him with the God of the unburnable burning bush in Exodus 3 and 4.
The two edged sword is the Word, I believe which separates, and with the which He smites the nations, for His Word is All Capable, and All Mighty,. The Word is our Maker, Our King, Our All, amen.
Looking back from the ot remember God was looking down on earth seeing if anyone was worthy and found no one ? So he began promising David a son ? Promising Judah a redeemer ? Promising the son of man the messiah ?
I think John is in heaven looking down into the earth seeing God searching for a man and finds none , then as johns weeping , the messiah appears being proclaimed both victorious and worthy to receive all Power and glory. Sort of revelation is condensing the message of the Bible into a cosmic apocalypse to be understood by viewing through the ot and nt scriptures
Did you notice how the elders cast their crowns on the ground before the throne before the lamb appears ?
“the four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Revelation 4:10-11 KJV
Yes he is one and the same he alone has life to give and judgement to makeJoh 10:17-18
17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
The context is about Jesus.....1Ti 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1Ti 6:15-16
15 ......the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Only God has immortality and Jesus has life in and of Himself, Jesus is immortal.
If Jesus doesn't have immortality, how can He offer it as a gift to the saved? ???.
This is an excellent observation, brother. When all hope appears to be lost due to our poor choice to rebel against God, He stays with us and is there in the background throughout history promising us through both testaments that He will redeem us. Revelation is the perfect ending to the written Word of God, yet that's not the end of the story. Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, and we will be swept away into eternity and ultimately the New Heavens and New Earth where Righteousness will dwell in atonement and redemption forever.
Yes brother - the twenty-four elders adore God and fall before Him in awe and thankfulness. And, when the worthy Lamb takes the scroll:
Revelation 5:8-10
New King James Version
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made [a]us kings[b] and priests to our God;
And [c]we shall reign on the earth.”
The four living creatures and twenty-four elders have harps, and there is music and praise in heaven before our God. The image of the "golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" is very powerful as well. Can you imagine the scene at the Throne where on top of the worship and praise from the heavenly host, millions to billions of prayers are also released before God continually from all of God's saints here below.
What's interesting to me about this "new song" that's sung to the Lamb here is the reference to the four creatures and twenty-four elders being "redeemed...to God by Your blood." I always thought the four creatures and elders were angelic beings, but the reference is they have also received redemption by the Lamb's sacrifice? Were they once humans who passed away and are now in a glorified state serving and worshipping before our God? They were redeemed "out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation."

“The call is for us all to choose to either believe God in risen Son or not, each knowing what they choose consciously. “The call is for us all to choose to either believe God in risen Son or not, each knowing what they choose consciously. That is why God says, there will be not one person with an excuse
All will bow, all will know and then each will go to whatever they chose, when that time comes. therefore it could be who these Elders are and were
God knows, That I see to rest in God's mysterious ways. I simply know to stand in belief and will see as need to see from God for me, you and all others as well
So we can all now get along in this love of God for us, best described to me in 1 Cor 13:4-7
To SeeThe new song is the New Testament new lyrics it comes from ot promises like this
“O sing unto the LORD a new song; For he hath done marvellous things: His right hand, and his holy arm, Hath gotten him the victory.”
Psalm 98:1
“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:9-10
The ot song had left man in this state
“And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.”
Revelation 5:2-4 KJV
When Christ appears a new song begins to be sung about Jesus and his victory through his sacrifice they begin singing of salvation and redemption through the lamb that is now appeared on the throne
a we’re seeing the authority change from the ot song to the nt song the songs represent the testaments
and the change happens when Christ is glorified in heaven note also how the prayers of the saints begin coming up before the throne and lamb in the New Testament were taught to pray in Jesus name but before this it wasn’t so
The old song and the new
“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant ( new song ) with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: not according to the covenant ( old song) that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
( new song )
but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Jeremiah 31:31-33 KJV

Yes Moses law has been fulfilled as the curse it promised for disobedience , Jesus is the lawgiver now the gospel is the new thing promisedTo See
Hebrews 7:11-12
Authorized (King James) Version
11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
“The call is for us all to choose to either believe God in risen Son or not, each knowing what they choose consciously. “
Some don’t even believe it’s possible to make a choice between good and evil between belief or unbelief
would it do someone good to say “ Jesus died and rose I believe “ but then reject everything he said about salvstion ? Repentance ? Obedience ? Forgivness ?
God is the one that knows, each person, whether or not that one believes God or not. it matters not what another one does or doesn't do. God knows the truth each persons motive as to why they do or not do whatever they each do. Careful of getting rewards from people and not God.
God is the one and only one that will cause anyone that truly belie yes God in risen Son or not.
God will cause his to stand
Romans 14:1-4
Authorized (King James) Version
14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Some say eight "I AM" claims were made by Jesus...They are the whole Gospel of John, particularly Jesus' seven "I AM" claims that identify him with the God of the unburnable burning bush in Exodus 3 and 4.
It has come to me that the Dragon spewing water towards the Woman could well be the flood of unbelievers attacking the Woman who I have come to think of as the true Assembly, or perhaps Church to some, both are the same to me.amen
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
Isaiah 40:8 KJV
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14
“Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”
Mark 13:31
“But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
1 Peter 1:25 KJV
“And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.”
Revelation 1:16 KJV
Life and salvation in one edge
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24 KJV
and judgement in the other edge
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
John 12:48 KJV
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel ( the sword ) to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; ( one edge )
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”( the other edge )
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12 KJV
“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.”
Revelation 19:15
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
Revelation 19:21
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, ( sword )and shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; ( one edge )
and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”( the other )
John 5:28-29 KJV
Notice that n revelation how the dragon spouts things from his mouth too for example a flood of water to destroy the woman this also coming out of his mouth is about his word the false prophecies and lies masquerading as truth from God the sword is his word of the gospel that divides light and dark
the things coming from the dragon and false prophets mouths are the opposite of truths. We’re seeing effects of an information war
Yes could be brother ….usually in prophecy when something is coming from a figures mouth it has to do with doctrine being taught which was Israel’s downfall false doctrine and the chrich also is warned it can destroy usIt has come to me that the Dragon spewing water towards the Woman could well be the flood of unbelievers attacking the Woman who I have come to think of as the true Assembly, or perhaps Church to some, both are the same to me.
According to Revelation the final destination is not heaven, it is the new Jerusalem on the new earth, right?
Show from scripture that Jesus the Messiah is God.
~—•—○— CHALLENGE —○—•—~
i'll go first:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.(John 1:1-5)
The Christ is that Word, who pitched His tent with us, came to His own, but wasn't known by them, who loved me, and gave Himself! He is the Light and the Resurrection and the Life!
OK, your turn! Go!!
“God is the one that knows, each person, whether or not that one believes God or not. it matters not what another one does or doesn't do.”
thats the flaw in that thinking and what has always deceived man
“ it doesn’t matter if I eat the fruit I won’t die god won’t allow it ….we’ll God told man the truth informed him man didn’t accept it and died like God had said “
if satan can convince us that it doesn’t matter what we do it’s going to make us blind to what Jesus said to do and be saved
Imagine I think “ it matter not what I do God knows already if I’m saved I don’t need to change a thing “ and then God is saying
“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
Luke 13:5 KJV
But then someone else tells me “ you don’t need to repent you won’t perish “
a there’s a choice to be made right there I can believe Jesus my lord and savior take his word for it
or ican reject Jesus word for it nd accept the one telling me the opposite
whichever I choose to accept is going to decide things according to what the lord actually said about things
Christian’s should find out what Christ said and believe those things about salvation if they do it’s this
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24 KJV
if they reject those same words that give life in the gospel it’s this
“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.”
John 12:48 KJV
It’s pretty basic stuff Christian’s need to hear Jesus and believe his version and f salvation because
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”
2 Corinthians 5:10-11 KJV
We can claim what we do doesn’t matter either way but God never said that
He said this
“God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism.”
Romans 2:6-11 NIV
it’s the same for everyone when we then conclude “ that’s not true I’ll never be judged for what I do that’s not true God already chose to save me I’m the favorite not like everyone else ect ect
all we are really doing is building a wall of rejection to what he really did say will save souls in the end
it seems you misunderstood what is said through me to you and everyone else reading too.. I continue to see in your writing, you are under Law mixing grace in it. Unfortunately
‘those that believe God in risen Son obey, willingly, are not under Law. Hoping for you to see it
if not, it is not between me and you. It is between God, and you
love and mercy to all
