"High School Mass Shooting In Georgia, Four Casualties & 30 Gunshot Wounds Reported!

At least four people were killed and 30 more were injured in an Apalachee High School mass shooting Wednesday, according to local law enforcement.

Local media outlets are on-site at a Winder, Georgia high school covering a reported mass shooting that sent several people to the hospital and resulted in multiple deaths.
The suspect is in custody and students are safe while waiting to be picked up by their parents.

Students were seen praying following the deadly attack.

Popular X account Libs of TikTok pointed out Barrow County Superintendent Chris McMichael said the school board would “have to carefully examine arming” teachers and other faculty last year when Georgia’s Republican Lt. Gov. Burt Jones offered a $10,000 bonus to staff who decide to carry firearms on campus.

The incident is sparking the same old debates about gun control and placing more armed guards or police in schools.

One student interviewed by local news said the shooter was her “classmate” and another person with grandchildren at the school claimed there were three shooters.

Democrat California Governor Gavin Newsom wasted no time before posting America is continuing to “allow this to happen to our kids.”"

I will add that Commi-Kamala also used this to start gun confiscation rhetoric in her speech after the murders.

My comments:
1. Please pray for the healing of injured children and comfort of families.
2. Also pray that the socialists/communists will be unsuccessful in their attempts to further endanger children, by taking away the right of the adults of means to defend them.
If teachers were properly trained and armed, this would likely never have been attempted.

And we also have to get the truth out there, to push back on blatant lies that are quoted as truth by the media... the propaganda arm of the new Democratic Socialist Party... this is a quote from Newsweek about how Georgia ranked in regard to "gun laws"....

"Folks in Georgia do not need to undergo a background check, they do not need a permit to purchase rifles, shotguns or handguns, they do not need to register these firearms with the government and they do not need a permit to carry them, according to Everytown."

EVERYONE that purchases a gun legally in the US has to... again, HAS TO undergo a FEDERAL background check. It's called the NICS system... if a buyer is flagged for any reason, they have to wait a mandatory 3 days minimum to be either officially cleared or denied.

The gun deniers always say we NEED background checks.... we've got them, and have had them for 25 years plus....

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s tragic shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, law enforcement has revealed the F🐝👁️ was aware of the suspect for over a year and there was a shooting threat made via telephone on the morning of the attack.
The alarming revelations undoubtedly leave many asking why students were still allowed to go to school after the phone threat or why there wasn’t at least a heightened state of security.
It’s unclear who made the threatening call, but CNN reports the individual warned there would be shootings Wednesday at five schools beginning with Apalachee.
Regarding the shooter being on the FBI radar, the Bureau released a public notice via X on Wednesday, stating, “In May 2023, the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center received several anonymous tips about online threats to commit a school shooting at an unidentified location and time… Within 24 hours, the FB👁️determined the online post originated in Georgia and the FBI’s Atlanta Field Office referred the information to the Jackson County Sheriff’s office for action.”

That's ok, thanks for the info. I'm surprised because I don't remember that happening before.
I just learned of her "Manifesto".
This teen wrote a book and Steven Crowder got a copy of it. The court was trying to prevent it from getting out by putting a copyright on it, if I understand correctly. I haven't had time to listen to the whole show yet.

The first part is about commie Kamala the Amerikan Border Czar responsible for building the wall. Did you hear? She wants to commemorate it on the anniversary of the Berlin Wall project. It's meant to keep democrat voters from going back to their Motherland. Lol!

I actually think it's great that his father got arrested too. More parents need to wake up and take responsibility for raising their own kids.

While I consider this to be a pretty low-brow comment, there is an element of truth to it.

When hunters go to hunt, they go to the easiest and likeliest place to find their target.

Until we as a nation wake up, and provide at LEAST the same level of security in schools that we provide to guard our money in banks, or our sport fans in stadiums, our schools will always be a soft target for the criminally insane.

As much money as is collected in taxes, supposedly for our schools, you can never convince me we don't have enough money to require armed security in every school....

Why do you almost never hear of armed robbery attempts at those places? An armed robbery attempt at a bank is rare enough to make headlines nationwide.. We should guard our kids with at LEAST that same level of armed protection. Magnetic wands and posters just don't do the job.

I debated whether to post it. It was intended to make a point, which apparently it did. No disrespect toward the victims was intended at all. I agree, something needs to be done. Enough talk.

I agree.... I would like to know what @ResidentAlien suggests as a solution... or at least a start towards a solution... ?

I hear people all the time saying "we need to DO something".... without offering a viable solution.

I offered a start at a solution in my previous post.... let's hear more!

Mass shootings in schools started decades ago. There has always been plenty of money at all levels of government all the time. Yet a national policy was never put in place to protect kids in absolutely every school. Using lack of funds as a lame excuse is irresponsible, when all governments are wasting tax dollars.

The US marshals could have been given the responsibility of developing and implementing a national plan for each and every school, with plenty of funding pooled by all levels of government. A special commission could have been set up by the executive branch long ago to make sure there was electronic as well as police security.

And the marshals should have been asked to monitor whether the security was maintained at a high level at all times, and that only seasoned police officers were used (not cowards dressed in uniform). If this involved checking kids for any kind of lethal weapon as they entered daily, then that too should have been done. If this involved checking the mental stability of some kids reported to be unstable, then that too should have been done.

In this latest mass shooting in Georgia the FBI was fully aware of the perp for at least one year, but did absolutely nothing. Yet attacking Mar-a-Lago and Trump was a high priority item for this rogue law enforcement agency.

And the FBI had the gall to say that they could not find a motive for the Trump assassination attempt. The motive was within the FBI itself, since several FBI agents made it known that they regretted that Trump had not been killed. The motive was within the Secret Service itself, which made sure Trump had minimal protection and incompetent agents (e.g. females taking off to breast-feed instead of protecting the person requiring protection). When the police invited the SS detail to discuss Trump's security prior to the rally, they refused to attend. That should have been a red flag and Trump should have been informed. Now the SS believes that a bulletproof glass enclosure will protect Trump! Is this stupidity or what?

But these mass shootings are golden opportunities for the Leftists to shout about banning, confiscating, and over-regulating firearm possession by lawful citizens who do not go around shooting people. I would not be surprised if the Democrats themselves are behind many of these incidents, using crazy kids and transgenders to go around killing kids so they can talk about gun-control in order to disarm the civilian population.

I know this is an overly long post, but Hornet Guy wanted some feedback.
