He was warned that staging photo ops at Arlington National Cemetery and using them for political purposes was a violation of federal law. He ignored that, staged the bizarre photo and vids, and then used them for his campaign.

I guess in MAGA world, federal laws are for the little people.

Multiple people confirmed that he said it, including his own hand-picked General. It's also consistent with how he said POWs weren't heroes and that a civilian award is better than the Medal of Honor.

It all paints a very consistent picture of who he is and what he thinks of our troops, POWs, and fallen soldiers.
And there you go buddy.
OK, its time for that apology. So lets hear it buddy.
Apologize for SLANDERING the Gold Star parents, their fallen soldiers, and Trump.

House Speaker Mike Johnson had to intervene to ensure that former President Donald Trump could attend a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery for the third anniversary of the Afghanistan withdrawal, after Gold Star families, who lost loved ones during the withdrawal, invited Trump to lay a wreath in honor of the 13 service members killed. The families faced difficulties from Arlington National Cemetery, which initially restricted the time they could be there and blocked Trump from joining them at their children's gravesites. Rep. Michael McCaul, contacted by Gold Star parents, reached out to Johnson, who resolved the issue, ensuring Trump could participate in the ceremony. h/t

Apologize for what? No one said he wasn't invited.

The problem is, he violated federal law by taking photos and videos, and then using them in his campaign. As you'll see here in a bit, this story is only getting worse for him.

Trump's flagrant violation of the law and utter disrespect for our fallen soldiers is blowing up. Veterans groups are furious.

"Donald Trump has no right to use our most hallowed ground for his political aims," Fred Wellman, a 22-year Army combat veteran, said Wednesday. "For a lot of us, and I'm not the only one, people are aptly furious."

And now reports are coming out that Trump's campaign staff shoved a female Arlington National Cemetery employee, and then the Trump campaign insulted her after the news broke of their disrespectful, illegal actions.

CNN, Newsweek, MSN......?
Tempest in a teapot.

And the only people that REALLY matter are the Gold Star families, who are GRATEFUL that the president (not Biden) attended.

Indeed, it is the Gold Star families, who invited Trump and are grateful (and said as much), are those whom you are insulting.
Along with their fallen soldiers.

The Donald is showing more and more every day how desperate he is.
Just in the last day or so, he's posted sexually explicit memes, gone back to the Qanon craziness, and disrespected our fallen soldiers.

No way I can give my vote to such a terrible, immoral person. No way.

"The incident was reported to police at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall. The U.S. Army spokesperson noted, however, that because the cemetery employee "decided not to press charges," it now "considers this matter closed."

No charges huh? Because the whole thing is an hoax and an investigation would indicate that the accuser is leveling false charges.
Aaannnd consequently the ACCUSER would be liable to criminal and civil charges. Ooopps.

Not any other veterans or Gold Star family members of some of the other soldiers whose graves were in Trump's tasteless and disrespectful photo op?

I guess in your world, only veterans and Gold Star families who are pro-Trump matter.

I've been thinking for awhile he may not ever care if he gets elected at this point. That's what he acts like at least, like he simply doesn't care. Ever since Biden withdrew and gave his endorsement to Harris, Trump has been on a downhill slide. He seems to be going out of his way to alienate as many people as possible before the election. And now he's sharing the stage with an equally deranged nutcase, RFK Jr.

Yep, that seems to be a common take at the moment. His rallies have lost their edge, he goes on long bizarre rants in a sort of monotone, and as the images show people are even leaving as he's talking.

The polls are turning against him and if next month's debate doesn't go well for him, he's probably toast.

Good riddance I say. Maybe the GOP can start to get back to sanity.

Your accusations are meaningless, as you are not party to the incident whatsoever.

Who is NOT accusing Trump? The only people that matter.....the Gold Star families.
Are they accusing Trump of campaigning? No.
Are they insulted in any way by Trumps attendance? No.
Have any of them lodged any formal or informal complaint in this matter? No.

The Gold Star families are the ONLY people that matter here. And they have nothing but PRAISE for Trump's comforting presence during this solemn occasion.

Furthermore, the photo shoot was absolutely lawful, as it was a result of the REQUEST of the Gold Star families,
who will treasure these photos as family keepsakes and mementos, in the spirit of respect for the fallen.

A spirit that you do not possess. You possess nothing but contempt for the these Gold Star families and their fallen kin.
To your eternal shame.
