If you want to spend the time and do all the research you will find no exaggeration on my part and because this is family friendly I toned it down. Just using AI and typing religious practices to the god Baal-Peor this is what AI returned.

"Based on biblical accounts and historical records, the worship practices of Baal Peor were characterized by obscene and degrading rituals. Here are some key aspects:
  1. Sexual Immorality: The Israelites who worshipped Baal Peor engaged in sexual immorality with Midianite women, who invited them to participate in the idolatrous rites (Numbers 25:1-3).
  2. Excremental Worship: According to Talmudic tradition and biblical commentators, Baal Peor’s worship involved public exposure and the use of excrement. The god was associated with flatulence and feces, which were “sacrificed” to cure intestinal problems or promote crop growth.
  3. Anal Intercourse: Some interpretations suggest that Baal Peor’s worship included anal intercourse, as Rashi, a French rabbi, described the ritual as involving the “uncovering of the rectum and the bringing forth of excrement.”
  4. Idolatrous Iconography: The god Baal Peor was often depicted as a bearded demon with an open mouth, horns, and sharply pointed nails, as described by St. Jerome. In some representations, he was shown with a phallus in his mouth."
However, like I said more research will return the full practice of their worship and their god and my comment is no exaggeration just toned down to be family friendly.
Right, there's no doubt that that form of Ba'al worship involved sensual and sexual sins. But the "holes means anatomy" thing seems a bit of a stretch IMO.

Really? To you freedom and liberty are lies? That's sad.

That may be your view, but in America no one else is obligated to make personal medical decisions based solely on what you think.

You're not aware of any cases ever of children being harmed in church? Really?

What I'm defending is freedom and liberty. You seem to oppose them.
You are so dishonest.
What is a lie is that someone can change their gender. They may change their appearance, but not their gender. The sex of a person is determined by their chromosomal make up. There is no procedure that can change this.
Second, it's not my view. It is the longstanding testimony of the scientific community that sex is determined by the existence of either an XX chromosome for females and XY for males.
Some children are harmed in churches. Every child who undergoes a medical procedure that mutilates their body is harmed. And as I've already said children should be protected, that would include in church. The difference between the 2 is that parents aren't purposely taking their kids to church to harm them. They are taking them to doctor's offices to do so.
Lastly, I hold freedom in the highest regard. But one's freedom ends at the tip of another's nose and the edge of another's property. And I'm not in favor of a person's rights when they bring harm to others. Further, the protection of the weakest amongst us is the essence of true religion.

So to be clear, you support the abuse of children and do not accept science.

You said you side with God on the issue of medical care for trans people.

.
No, it went over your head perhaps, I don't believe there is such a thing as trans. I believe, as Ben Carson said, it's a mental illness. You're not going to find it in the Bible because there is no such thing.

You are so dishonest.
I have to say, after interacting with you for a while now, you seem very quick to anger and personal attack. Are you like that in person too? I can't imagine living like that is good for you.

Again, I'll go with the relevant medical experts over your opinions.

So you think parents' freedom and liberty to raise their children as they see fit should be based on your opinions? Just who do you think you are?

So to be clear, you support the abuse of children and do not accept science.
Boy but you're an angry, spiteful person. I see no love or grace in you.

Please Lord, help this person overcome their anger and negativity, so that they may find and connect with Your infinite love and grace. Amen.

As you noted, Fruit Loops aren't in scripture either, so I guess there's no such thing!

FYI, this does not help you come off as a believer in any way shape or form. Neither do accusations about someone else's emotional state, which is a really weird thing to do to begin with. You seem a lot more sensitive to disagreement than Cameron (who I have had plenty of disagreement with).

One last explanation of Baal-Peor differs from the defining of him as the lord of the mountain peor. This is different due to the interpretation of the the term “Baal-Peor”. “Baal” is still defined as “lord”, and “Peor” is still defined as “the gap”.

However, this term is taken very literally to mean “Lord of the Hole” and is in reference to any opening in the body. “Hosea remarks on the Baal Peor event in Hosea 9:10, and it is clear that the Israelites defiled themselves there with abundant fornication and sexual perversion. All leading translators steer timidly clear from this name, which basically comes down to Lord Hole.”

This writer is taking the position that “Baal-Peor” was nothing more than a god pertaining to sex. This is very plausible since in Numbers 25:1 we see that the Israelites did wrong by whoring around with the daughters of Moab.

Verb פער (pa'ar) means to open wide. It's used to apply to the mouth but suggests to allude to other bodily cavities. This verb yields no nouns, which suggests that it describes doings out of a kind of hunger or desire rather than merely the mechanics of opening. It that sense it means to desire, to yearn and obviously also to lust.

The worship of this idol consisted in exposing that part of the body which all persons usually take the utmost care to conceal.

I appreciate your opinion, but this is been a consistent issue when trying to interact with Cameron. It's been name calling and personal attacks since day one from Cameron, which is an indication of some deeper issues.

Psalm 37:8 “Don’t give in to worry or anger; it only leads to trouble.”

James 1: 19-20 “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.”

Proverbs 14:17 “People with a hot temper do foolish things; wiser people remain calm.”

According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, "Ba'al Peor" is a means to specifically identify the version of Ba'al the people in the Peor Mountain region worshiped.

Read further down on your citation and it will say this "The worship of this idol consisted in exposing that part of the body which all persons usually take the utmost care to conceal. "

Like I said there is much more but I have to get, you choose not to believe that is cool. However, it does point to that trans was a thing and this religion practiced it and God found it an abomination and destroyed Israelites who associated themselves with this god in any form at peor.

So God did not approve of their Sunday school practices as you used that as your stand for "liberty". So we are always faced with the ultimate choice, chose you this day who you will worship and the standards of the one we worship.

Yep, Ba'al worship was sexual/sensual in nature.

We'll just have to disagree on that.

I definitely agree. :)

You are dishonest because you imply things that I have not proposed or characterize me falsely. I'll demonstrate from your current post.
You suggest that I am angry and attacking you personally, and later that I am angry and spiteful. None of this is true. I never get angry as a result of an online discussion. And what you see as personal attack and spite is merely your understanding of what would be true of you if you made a determination of someone based on their posts. I'm merely pointing out from your own words what is true of you. And you take it personally, but I'm simply pointing out what is true. For me to be spiteful I would have to intend you harm. My only goal is to present truth so others won't be fooled.
Another example of your dishonest discourse: I never said parents can have freedom except where they disagree with me. I went to some trouble to explain the limits of personal freedom so as to not affect both the freedom of others and the harming of others. This is not the same as having freedom as I see it.

As far as not believing the science that gender is determined at the chromosomal level, this is simply further evidence of your dishonesty. Changing one's appearance does not change one's gender.

I wonder: do you believe calling me angry and spiteful falsely makes you guilty of no evidence of love or grace? Do you believe your virtue signaling prayer will be answered? Or even needs be? Better that I pray for you in the real presence of God that you are given discernment. That way you don't offer needless disingenuous prayers.

As always, grace and peace.

Oh sure, when you call people names and accuse them of lying, you're just "telling the truth". How convenient.

That doesn't make sense or relate to anything I've posted.

There's a lot of misinformation going around about transgender treatment. Unfortunately, some seem to think that any child of any age can just walk into a Drs office, say "I'm trans", and get same-day surgery and/or hormones.

Of course that's not the case at all.

If you want some more info, this should help: https://medicine.yale.edu/lgbtqi/clinicalcare/gender-affirming-care/biased-science/#section-1
Now we have the Kommiela plant actually being an apologist for Democrats pushing everywhere children changing their gender. And on a Christian site no less.

Why the name calling and personal attacks? I said nothing about Harris or Dems, nor did I advocate for pushing kids to change their gender.

All I did was provide a link to medical guidelines.

Please try and be better.

I think we can all agree that mutilation of children is harmful. And that taking children to church is very different than taking them to have their bodies mutilated.
