For me, VP Harris seems to be pretty honest.
Pretending one has the ability, and everything that entails, to be the leader of a great power nation is biggest lie of all.

She is self-deceived and so are those who support her.

Hey @HeIsHere

Thank you. But I'm telling you, from the armchair in my living room the one who is pretending to have abilities that they've already proven that they don't have, would be the GOP contender.

Remember the one who promised you on day one that the ACA would be history and we'd be living today with a better and cheaper plan than the whole world has ever seen before. You don't remember that do you? Or are you able to make up some account in your head that says his being able to do that wasn't his fault. But you just don't seem to understand that, while it may not be his fault, it's how his promises so often turn out.

Investing in DJT has turned out to be pretty much like all of his many other businesses. Do you have any idea how many businesses that he has been a start up part of that have failed? Do you have any idea? Were none of those also not his fault?

The last time Trump took a ‘DJT’ business public, it ended up in bankruptcy | CNN Business

DJT is a scam. Just like his companies 'charities'. Just like his steaks and his vodka and his... (add your favorite Trump business). The only thing that he has been reasonably successful at, is holding real estate and scamming people out of money with his 'successful businesses'. But you don't see any of that, do you? You see him as a successful leader and businessman because he's seriously wealthy,... maybe. Yes, he's certainly more wealthy than many of us will ever be, but most of his wealth claims have turned out to be not quite so true, either.

But he has so many business failures and so many stories of his not paying people what he owes. Even today his campaign is being forced to pay up front for his city appearances because his campaign stiffed them before. That's who you want to be our nation leader? A man who won't even pay the righteous bills that all presidential campaigns have paid for at least decades now. That's who you want to lead you? A man, who fulfills very, very few of his promises, telling you that he's going to save SS. I'm sorry, but I don't trust a single word that comes out of the man's mouth and I think any reasonable person would agree that he lies a lot. There are books written about his lying. There are golf jokes told about his lying. His own butler recounts the account of his lying to guests visiting his Mar-a-Lago home.

So look, you see things differently than I in all of this and that's ok with me and you get to vote for whoever you feel is the best person for the job. I don't believe that this issue that the evangelicals are making that a vote for the GOP contender is a vote for God's man. I'm sorry. God's man wouldn't be constantly lying. God's man would not have been a fornicator and an adulterer all of his life. God's man wouldn't have cut his own family out of their rightful inheritance by dragging them into court to strip them of what was supposed to be there's. God's man would not be talking, as a full grown mature man of God, about grabbing women as he did. I certainly wouldn't think of saying something like that... how about you?

So no, when I look at the lives of the two presidential contenders, for me, there's a pretty clear difference in how each one of them have lived their life up to this point. The one seems to be a narcissistic lover of himself who has proven that all he's really concerned about is putting money into his pocket at the taxpayer's expense. Fortunately, I don't think the other even plays golf.

God bless and vote your choice, but vote wisely,
Ted

I am an equal opportunity person.

I am equally doubtful about Trump.

Sad days in the USA.

Sad days in the USA.
Hi @HeIsHere

I'm glad to hear you say that and I completely agree that we're living in what seems obviously to be a very dangerous time for our nation. And looking across the globe, is also becoming a very dangerous time for the world.

But that's what God has warned us the last days will be like. The days when there is no fear of God in their eyes. The days in which love has grown cold. The days that Paul wrote of to the Roman believers nearly 2,000 years ago. The world is going to get ugly. Of that I have no doubt and there's no reason that the U.S. won't be a part of that. The Scriptures tell us that in the very last days, all the nations of the earth will rise up against Israel. If the U.S. is still around when that day comes, then we will also rise up against Israel. And we are seeing that possibility even now with so many protests for the cause of the Gazans over the Israeli's right to peace and security within their borders. Their borders that a group from Gaza went in and slaughtered over 100 Jews. Just mowed them down as they were enjoying a day out with family and friends.

Even now, at least one of the Arab leaders has declared that their goal is to wipe Israel off the face of the map. We are living in tenuous times. But I don't believe that the GOP contender has the guts to stand up for their righteousness. He waffles on pretty much everything. He isn't even the man he claimed to be on abortion today, as he was 8 years ago.

He didn't get his border wall finished because he just doesn't know how to work with people and unfortunately for him, our government isn't established that he can just make all the rules about how we live our lives. That's why he is so enamored with Putin and Kim and Xi. He desires the kind of control that they have over their people. The ability to be a king who can stand up and say, "What I say goes!!!"

But I don't want a government like that. That kind of government puts too much power in the hands of one person for my likes.

So, I'm going with the person who I see as being reasonably honest. Really shows care for the people. Oh, she may not do everything as I want it done, but I'm 69 years old. There hasn't yet been a national leader that's done everything that I wanted done. But of the two, I'm more in line with VP Harris's vision of the future of our country over the GOP contender's vision.

I'm not worried about the border. We're a nation that is established by the people of other nations. That actually qualifies America as being the Beast out of the sea. And we're not going to change that by closing the borders now. And we're not going to put more people to work by closing the borders now. I know that they're not getting coverage from Medicaid. I know that they're not getting SS or welfare. I understand how those social plans work for Americans.

But you're being fed a long list of lies about them so that you'll be fearful of them. You'll hate them because you believe that they're getting the things that you're being told that they are getting. I know they're not. You're being told that the vast majority of them are rapists and murderers and thieves. But that isn't true. The vast majority of them are just people with families who want a better life for themselves and America has always held itself up as being the greatest nation on the face of the earth with the greatest people on the face of the earth. WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE A PART OF THAT?

But it's ok. They aren't going to destroy us. Our crime waves are predominantly good old native born Americans. In fact, an illegal would be crazy to do such a thing because that's sure way back home. You're being told that these other nations are emptying their jails and insane asylums and sending them to us. That just isn't true. I mean it just isn't and anyone who would believe that without checking where these people are coming from is, as far as I'm concerned, just not very bright. Gullible would be the reasonably correct word that I'd use. Your eyes are enamored, and your itching ears are being told exactly what you want to hear. That's ok with me, but I'm not going there.

For me, the better choice of national leader for the next four years is someone I can respect as a person and look up to and say that they seem to have lived a good life. Someone who realizes that being president doesn't make them an expert weatherman or a medical researcher. Someone who doesn't seem to have a problem talking about the good in others and isn't so drawn to be ugly and mean with those who aren't in agreement.

God bless and vote wisely,
Ted

Hi @PennEd

Yes, as it stands at this moment I will be casting my vote for leadership over the nation for VP Harris. And yes, that is my true testimony concerning how I understand the presidency of Barack Obama. I was there and I lived through it and that's how I feel about his leadership. A much wiser and more erudite man than the current GOP candidate. And in my sight, a much stronger believer in the Lord Jesus.

God bless,
Ted
You did say you were a Christian, right? And you understand what your vote supports?
About the the only positive to find in this post is at least you are honest about supporting this evil.

By voting Harris you support:

1. 100% abortion on demand, up to the moment of birth.

2. Hormone suppressing drugs and surgical removal of sexual organs of children confused and under demonic attack.

3. Unlimited ILLEGAL immigration.

4. Communistic price controls

Just to name a few.

How many people are you representing or speaking for?
Hi @ZNP

Are you just arguing to be argumentative now, or what? I said that we're (that's all the people who are participating on this thread) are up to over 600 posts.

I'm not sure I understand why you couldn't figure that out, but rather thought it was a point worth arguing, but, ok.

up to the moment of birth.
And look, you can blow that horn if you need to, but that's utter nonsense that we even have abortions up to the moment of birth. That would only be in some really, really, really rare case and trust me, if that case comes up, the Republicans will allow that abortion also. You guys just live in this world where you believe that every day women are having abortions of their babies as they are coming out of the womb or some very few days before. THAT JUST IS NOT A THING!!! There is no group of women who are aborting their babies within the last month of their pregnancy. That is only done for the life of the mother or child and would be done under any of the existing state laws in the very, very rare instance that such a thing even comes to happen. Why do you all believe all this nonsense?

The election was stolen.
Babies are being aborted at birth.

It would seem that such people have no thinking matter between their ears. Most medical facilities that perform abortions won't do them after 24 months. There are 3 states that have no gestational limit on abortions... and one of them is not California. But honestly, this cry that abortionists are ripping live babies from wombs and killing them is just the sickest of conspiracies.

God bless and please vote wisely,
Ted

I misread it, I thought you were saying that it was time that "we" stop discussing this. But you didn't say that, so a simple misunderstanding which is why I asked.

I don't know of any who preforms them after 9 months. I don't know of anyone who has carried an unborn baby 24 months.

No one performs abortion after 9 months, after that it is called infanticide.
