Have you ever wrapped a piece of ham around a banana and eaten it?
No! I want to say "EW!" but if ya'll keep talking about it and posting that there photo, I might just get crazy enough to try it!
Because at least I will have tried.
Have you ever even tried pineapple on pizza? Because I know I've seen you criticize it a lot, but have you ever at least tried?

:unsure:Hmm, I wonder why Sam I am with his green eggs and ham is suddenly running around in my head?

Everything in the whole world. Yuck! Have you ever wrapped a piece of ham around a banana and eaten it?
I'm going back and forth trying to decide if it this recipe committed the bigger crime against the banana, or the bigger crime against the ham.

now that I'm thinking about it, I have had breakfast ham with fruit salad that includes bananas and it wasn't bad. So maybe next time I will have that all mixed in one bite...

Considering the banana was not included in what was supposed to be an inclusive controversial previous thread, I'd say that the bigger crime committed here was against the banana.

Actually I don't really care. It's not my favorite pizza topping, but I can pick it off and enjoy the rest of the pizza. I might even eat the pineapple chunks, separately.

But that's not nearly as much fun as complaining about it. For the sake of argument, you know.

The poor people who usually frequent the family forum are probably like, "Lawd ha' mercy, what has happened to our nice forum?"

I have to admit, I would be curious about a chocolate casserole. Like, how many kinds of chocolate would it have? What would be used as a binder -- sweetened condensed milk? Is a chocolate casserole really just a pan of fudge?

But a chocolate owl casserole -- now that's just a crime against nature.

#OwlsAreNotPoultry
I'll take the chocolate casserole (fudge) sans owl.

wait, am i too late? i don't care for the canned soup (it's easy to make if you can put a roux together), but casseroles are quite nice!

is chicken pot pie a casserole? quiche? any strata, including lasagna? baked ziti? what about mac and cheese? (not the blue box, though i'm not knocking that, but made from scratch?) if i make mac and cheese, throw in some leftover diced chicken and broccoli, is it a casserole?

i make chicken stew in an enameled cast iron, 7 quart pan, get it good and hot on top of the stove, drop buttermilk biscuits on top, toss it in the oven, and my family will finish it in one sitting. pigs lol

I can't say anything about your family being pigs. I may not be able to finish it myself in one sitting, but I would certainly try my best.

As for using canned soup, times have changed. There used to be cream in the cream of chicken soup. Now it's just soybean oil. A whole wall of cans full of soybean oil and miscellaneous minor ingredients.

Back when your grandmother made that casserole recipe, it tasted good. Now the same ingredients out of the same containers tastes like total junk.

Pizza can be a casserole, depending on how deep the deep dish goes. My mother makes a really good pizza in a casserole dish. It looks more like lasagna than pizza, but it sure tastes like pizza. Even fancy pizza bistros ain't got nothing on her.

Too often, I find myself scraping off the topping with a fork and leaving behind the crust, unless it's a sufficiently thin crust. And this solution remedies the need to do that! Naan on the side would be just fine to take up any want of the crust. :D

All right! Lets put that ham to some good use. No more bananas, lets move onto potatoes.

Step 1: Peel potatoes

 Hmm, now what to do with all those potato skins...

I KNOW!
