I couldn't talk for months after. But it's been a year or year and a half since my last radiation treatment. So I am able to talk. But I also have my upper tip lip, on the right, glued to my gums. And starting with my front teeth all the way back have been removed. Also part of the surgery required the top of my mouth to be removed and rebuilt, so now the inside of my mouth is taller than before. As well as part of my face, under the skin had to be removed and rebuilt then grafted with skin from my leg. Hence the difficulty talking still.
I will check out the links. Thanks.

I remember a while back, you made a post that didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary to the regulars here, but for some reason, a new member flippantly brushes off your post like, "This is what you get from an unbeliever."
And it was like, "You don't know anything about him -- why are you so quick to judge him so harshly?" Someone pointed out that this person didn't know anything about your time serving in youth ministry, which was something you'd told us about back in the day. But they sure were quick to brand you as a heathen when you were just making observations about what you were going through -- which is something we all do. (Not surprisingly, that user was making harsh, dismissive comments towards others as well -- and wasn't here for very long before they got banned.)
I surely don't know everything about everyone here and I can't keep up with everyone's lives, but your story has always stuck out. There have actually been times when I've read your posts and thought, "If I even went through half of what he's gone through -- in a year! -- would I be able to hold it together? Would I still be holding onto faith?"
I know we haven't always agreed on everything in our posts, but who does? Not always seeing eye to eye is part of being inviduals in a family.
I'm just very glad you haven't given up on this forum, Sub, no matter what the ups and down. 🌹🙏❤️
I'll also very very happy if this thread helps connect you and others with yet more Christian family members to help carry their burdens and keep them in prayer. 💐
