I would say the numbers are pretty much showing a party who is not really against abortion
The name was chosen to emphasize information based on polling that consistently shows that a majority of Republicans support legal access to abortion in at least some circumstances. In 2009, Gallup reported that 66% of Republicans agreed that abortion should be legal in some (54%) or all (12%) circumstances.[2] A Gallup poll in 2011 found that 27% of Republicans identified themselves as "pro-choice".[3] However, 42% of Republicans support legal abortion during the first trimester.[4] In 2017, Gallup released polling information showing that 36% of Republicans identified as "pro-choice" and 70% agreed that abortion should be legal in some (56%) or all (14%) circumstances.[5]
In 2018, an NBC/Wall St Journal poll found that 52% of Republicans supported the Roe v Wade Supreme Court ruling and did not want said ruling to be overturned.[6]

So vote for the only party and person where there has been ANY kind of tangible action in that regard.

I would say Trump did something, the party, meh.
Sometimes another voice comes into the conversation to show that Republicans have not been all that wonderful (not saying you believe this about Republicans) and to provide a reality check.
I think the Democratic Party has become so power hungry they will do anything to stay in power, and I also think they love the chaos of the culture wars.
Repubs are just as knee deep in creating a surveillience state (Peter T. Musk etc.,) and military industrial complex as the Dems.
I say follow the money, but somehow Christians want to think there are many "good" guys in government, there really are not many, maybe a few.
You can throw out NBC. There definitely are Republicans who are for abortion. Most in favor are for 1st trimester with exceptions for rape and incest. Because of this, Republican representatives in purple districts are squishy on the issue. But Democrats aren't making it an issue for no reason. And to draw moral equivalence is ridiculous. It's like saying...but there were some Republicans who owned slaves.
Dems vs Repubs. and you're saying there is no difference on the abortion front, yeah that's a lie. And you repeating it doesn't make it the truth.
Even if they all started in the same position, there is a distinct leaning, whether toward or away.

Explain to me, using my whole quote, what's not true? Dems are literally celebrating abortion in the streets. Offering free abortions, selfies with a giant IUD, parading down the streets as abortion pills. Explain to me how they care about family and children? HIH or you are free to explain that to me. In fact it's worse than that because more than one generation is being aborted. I get people want exceptions, ok, that's 4% or less of abortions. Explain to me, anyone in the thread how as Christians should sit back and not vote when the issues are so serious. No one can, because it's not justifiable.
You claimed that people who vote Dem don't care about future generations. That's demonstrably false, given how many Dems are concerned about the effects of things like climate change, health coverage, etc. on future generations.
I've never said Christians shouldn't vote.
Who'd back any leader that has no hope for the future? Is there hope only the end of all humanity? That more sounds like deep despair to me, no matter how many giggles anyone manages to insert.
A good question for Christian Republicans is, are you content letting the states have authority over abortion... OR would you have preferred they federally ban it unless it was to save the mother's life (ectopic pregnancies and things like this)?
We could concede that giving the authority to the states is a much better outcome than the status quo at the time, though I am not sure it goes far enough. I believe Republicans (and perhaps the SCJ themselves) fear the reaction of the left if abortion was banned altogether with a few exceptions. For this reason, they wouldn't ever actually hint at a federal ban as they know they would likely lose major elections. I'm worried some are more loyal to their party than to our Savior in wanting to completely protect the lives of the unborn.
When the left makes claims that Trump wants to federally ban abortion, I don't deny it to make them feel better because I actually wish it was true. Unfortunately, it's not. I am grateful for what we got changed at the very least.

Climate change is going being used against the working people. The elite do not worry about it in the least. They live their lavish lifestyles and change nothing, while tell you to change everything. Sorry, that is not concern. Health coverage? As a Canadian transplant, free healthcare isn't going to work in the States. And it sure as blazes isn't going to work allowing illegals into the country. If Dems cared about future generations, they would be screaming bloody murder over illegals. The middle of the road Dems left the party.

You may have lost track of what we were discussing. You claimed that Dem voters don't care about future generations. I pointed out ways in which they do. You may disagree with their reasons, but the fact remains that they do care about future generations, perhaps just in ways you don't agree with.
