I think that the eclipse in 2017 was telling the US we would have 7 years of peace. That seven years expires in about 5 hours.
The last place that the 2017 eclipse crossed before leaving the US was the place where the Civil war began.
All three eclipses (2017, 2023 and 2024) wrote out the letters Aleph Tav, or in Greek it would be Alpha and Omega. The last place the 2023 eclipse crossed before leaving the US was where the US civil war officially ended. This is also the same place where the 2024 eclipse first crossed.
Not only so but the 2024 eclipse crossed over 5 major civil war battlefields.
I think the warning is quite clear.
Whether we take it as a sign of hope or despair remains to be argued. If God has put His mark on this, that doesn't necessarily say that is a sign of judgment toward the wicked as much as but concern toward the righteous, considering that God goes before them, and fights for them, and is their rear guard (Is 52:12; Is 58:8).

If it's true that it describes 90% of this country, then that's the way the country will go. You guys keep seeming to forget how a democratic government system works. You keep harping about Marxism and Communism and Socialism and really don't seem to have a clue what any of those forms of governance represent in their various methods of governing a people. And you don't seem to understand what defines democracy either. You're just ticked off that things aren't going your way and resorting to silly first grade name calling is the best you can do.
Democracy is generally where the will of the majority of the people, will be the will of the nation overall. Ben Franklin likely had visions of us being pretty much exactly where we are today as a governmental system, when he challenged our being able to keep this country and nation that we call the United States of America.
And this is merely the precursor of the days of Great Tribulation that will come upon the earth in due course. We're just building up to it. Come Lord Jesus!

Really? Ok, then how do you believe that our governmental system works? You don't believe that a Democratic Republic is governed generally as the majority of the people so governed, want things to be. Ok.
But I'd really be interested in 'how' you believe that our government works in its laws and processes in dealing with issues.
Do you know why the former president couldn't get the funding he needed for the border wall without taking it from other appropriations?
Answer: Because he could never get a majority of the representatives of the people to agree with him. Therefore, he never got any successful funding for his wall. And rather than work with the legislature, as true leaders will do, to convince them to his side, he just began railing against them and calling them silly first grade names. That's honestly all he knows to do to 'convince' people that he's right.
Not my desire for a leader.

If it works as it is supposed to, not as it is right now, it's as a republic.
Republic, form of government in which a state is ruled by representatives of the citizen body.
Not by mob rule or majority rule. Just saw this, puts it very simply.
You asked first what? I brought it into the discussion because you did. That's my answer.
Oh man, did you hear Michelle Obama ask, "Who is gonna tell Donald Trump that the job he's seeking is one of those black jobs?" LOL!! If VP Kamala wins the job, Trump will have lost getting a black job. First he gets beat by an old man. Then he gets beat by a black woman who turns the job of the President of the United States into one of those 'black jobs' that he keeps talking about.
Oh no. That's right. Barack Obama already made the presidency one of those black jobs. Now it will be a black woman's job.
