Democratic DC Lawmaker Arrested by FBI
A member of the Washington D.C. City Council, Trayon White Sr., who is a Democrat, was arrested by the FBI.
Details surrounding the reasons for his arrest have not been disclosed, despite his upcoming campaign for a third term in November.

I think that's KEY; because most people in a position to either retire or deploy.... The vast majority of people are not gonna deploy.

On the other hand, there's no point in lying about your military career; because... other people were there. I tell people straight up, I'm a "combat veteran" that has never seen combat. It's not really my fault the enemy tends to run away from American warships. I initially wanted to enlist in Army infantry; but the Army recruiter was out of the office that day... and the Navy recruiter told me that my ASVAB was "too high for me to join the army". What valiant young idiot wouldn't fall for that?

Especially with the way we look back on the GWOT, I don't really judge people for getting in or getting out.... whatever your reasons are, they are probably valid; but there's no sense in making stuff up.
