It shows that inflation isn't tied to anything specific to the US, and when comparing how we've managed it versus other countries, we've done extremely well (namely bringing inflation down to less than 3% without going through a recession).

The money was Iran's to begin with, and was held frozen in a S. Korean account. After the deal was reached to free American prisoners from Iran, the money was transferred to Qatar where they and the Swiss oversaw it (to ensure it was specifically spent on food, medicine, etc.).


I think supporting our allies is important, especially when we do so in cooperation with our other allies. It's a good way to maintain unity in the face of Russian aggression.

Pretty bad move giving your enemy a bunch of money. Not a great look justifying aiding and abetting an enemy of the USA. Trump tried to redeem the government by cancelling the disastrous Iran Deal but the democrats went right back to it, that's incredibly suspicious.


America does not have an alliance with Ukraine. You could justify giving them some aid, but the amount of the aid given to them, how it has had almsot no battlefield effect, and the timing when the democrats had destroyed America's economy sis an incredibly bad move. The truth is Trump was good for the regular people and the rich, Trump was good for everybody and under Trump everybody was upwardly mobile. I am actualyl surprised Trump and the Republicans don't seize on this point, the big democrat spending bills of the past 4 years are the most naked grifts of all time.
