I find staying active to be a challenge, and it is a fact that I said yes to going back to work because it would help me in that way. It sure does not hurt that I got a very good raise, reduced work week, a six hour day, and get treated very well. I was on the phone with my daughter for close to an hour and a half last night listening to her telling me about her workplace dynamics. After over ten years there, she feels like quitting, because she is undervalued and made to feel like she is at fault for things that are at best beyond her control and at worst the fault of the office manager who is scapegoating her. I was at my current job for 25 years before my then-boss admitted that I was better than he was at what we did. LOL. Some things just take time. And while I have a lot of spare time, I am otherwise not very motivated to walk out my door, so going for coffee on my days off and then walking to the corner store afterwards is quite an adventure for me LOL.
I force myself to have to exercise. I got rid of my riding lawnmower awhile back. It takes about 6 hours to cut my yard pushing it.
My stupid kids grew up and got jobs so I don't have anyone to stomp...whoops, play sports with.

Proof that there are no women in heaven:

"When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour."
As a sign of respect, I wouldn't want to say anything out loud during that 1/2 hour...

But you might hear me quietly typing away on a keyboard. :geek::D:cool:

(Hopefully we'll be allowed to have laptops in heaven!)

I think your thoughts just appear over your head like in the comics.

Yeah, and after that 1/2 hour of silence is up, all bets are off!!!

I am going to CLICK CLICK CLICK and CLANKETY CLANK just as LOUDLY as could be!! I might not say a single spoken word, but you'll be able to tell what I'm feeling just by how "boisterous" all the TAP TAP TAP-ping comes across!

Every keyboard I've ever owned had almost every letter wiped clean off every key (except ones like "Q" and those hardly used) due to... passionately- typed communications  (until I upgraded to a business-grade Dell.)

You're not a REAL keyboard warrior until you've experienced pounding away for years on nearly all-blank keyboards with only 5 visible letters left! :geek:

Just as long as nobody can see what I'm thinking when they open the doors to a giant dessert buffet in heaven -- and I'm in the back of the line. :cautious:

(I know technically we wouldn't have any such thoughts like this in heaven, and time wouldn't be an issue, but while I'm still here on earth, it's a fun joke to make.) :p

They left out BIFF. Pretty sure it's not a word and, even if it were, it wouldn't really be a fight sound, but I don't know if Batman and Robin can win against the henchmen without it.

I am still using the Dell my daughter had given to her dad the Christmas before he passed, and never got around to using. He said he was going to do that (set the laptop up for himself) after he tidied his room. Oy, he shoulda tidied his room! I wonder what kind of mess I am going to leave behind. *Cartoon thought bubble bursts* Any who... Yeah, this Dell computer has etched keys that light will shine through, so nothing rubs off, ever! It is a nice feature of this laptop... My HP laptops had letters missing for sure... And my first laptop, a ten-inch touch screen Asus I think? Some of the bottom row keys stopped working entirely. Ugh. Like, the Z, X, C, V, B. Can't even copy and paste with those gone!

Wow, that definitely must be an oldie but goodie.

Two Google searches for "comic thought bubbles" phrased in different ways didn't bring it up -- I had to search for it on its own, and even then, the findings were nill.

But we wouldn't want to leave Batman and Robin helpless against the bad guys so in their honor, here's a big old:

That sounds like a parody song in the making:

"I like BIG BIFFS and I cannot lie...
You comic fans can't deny!
When a thief walks up
And needs a firm WHUP!
Count on good old BIFF
Send 'em off a cliff
And WHAM POW, you've saved the day!" :D

I promise you it was in the Adam West Batman series. I cannot vouch for the animated series. My kids still get upset when I say Adam West was the best Batman.

Sometimes a good wallop is required. I looked it up the word to check the spelling (wondering if there was an "H" in there after the "W") and its primary meaning is to boil noisily. I say what? LOL!!! Then the secondary meaning came up as, to move with reckless or disorganized haste: advance in a headlong rush (wallow, flounder). Why Oh Why was I never aware of this before? Heh. Then, finally, after having my supposed superior knowledge of the English language so thoroughly trounced, the third definition said: to thrash soundly: lambaste... to beat by a wide margin: trounce ... to hit with force: sock. Sock it to me, Baby!

I don't know if you've ever heard of or used Waze, the GPS app, but occasionally they feature really fun guest voices for narrating your trip. A while back, they had "Batman" as a navigation choice and you could choose between Batman and The Riddler as your voice host.

The really cool thing is that they got Kevin Conroy, the original voice actor for Batman the Animated Series, to do the Batman voice for the Waze app as well.

I tried "Batman" for a while, but as you might have guessed, I gravited more towards The Riddler (since at heart, I am naturally more of a mischievous villain.) :geek::cool:

When certain directions would come up, The Riddler would tell you things like, "Take the round-a-bout. It's Bat-free."

My wife is a bargain hunter and she finds some good deals online. We were using the GPS to get to the address in Myrtle Beach. No kidding...for about 3 miles, every quarter mile the voice on the GPS said...in a quarter mile, go straight. The system must have thought SC gives driver's licenses to kindergarteners.

Although it looks like Robin's fist is hiding a BIF! in the first pic that you posted, searching "onomatopeia batman and robin" retrieves this result

A SOK sounds like it'd land on a chin, a POW on the kisser, and a BLAP! might land on, idk, either the gut or a cheek, it seems to me that a BIFF! would land right on the nose.

We won't need them as we will know everything.

*GG starts reading and naturally, the original song's tune is playing in her head as she bobs her head around , shoulders, arms and fist start bobbing around when she reads "WHAM POW! you've saved he day!"...
She adds on:
"You other villains best run away"
