I think I know what he meant. The problem is that what he meant is not what he said. I think when he was asked what a "Black job" is, he was checkmated and couldn't actually say what he truly believe is a "Black job".

To another point, if illegal immigrants are stealing American jobs (including Black people), why aren't we targeting the people who hire illegal immigrants? Shouldn't the employers who break the law and exploit illegal immigrants by paying them pennies on the dollar be targeted even more than how he wants to target illegal immigrants? Shouldn't eliminating what draws the majority of illegal immigration instantly decrease it?

The reason why he doesn't advocate this, in my opinion, is because he himself hired illegal immigrants (according to a multitude of reports). It would make him look hypocritical. Just because it would make him look hypocritical shouldn't be a valid reason why we don't target people of his ilk who exploit illegal immigrants though.
You have TDS. It is the leaders in sanctuary cities and states and the federal government who are giving them employment. Go ahead...target them.

Further, housing illegals and giving them health-care drives up rental prices and taxes. You pretend to be reasonable, but you simply will apply the worst possible explanation because you have an unreasonable dislike of Trump.

At least Trump's rent went down...he lives rent free in your head.

They're not even giving them employment. They're giving them free food, free clothes, free money, free medical.
This is something that citizens should get. But hey, money grows on trees here.

This exposes TDS for both sides PERFECTLY:

Republican TDS: For actually believing Trump when he claims he cured cancer.

Democrat TDS: Believing Trump cured cancer and somehow injecting racism into it.
I'll go a step further for the Republican TDS:

Trump: I cured cancer.
Smoke: No you didn't... Why are you making false claims that you cured cancer?
Republican TDS: Well, I think he meant that he is for finding the cure for cancer.
Smoke: That isn't what he said though.
Republican TDS: Well Biden has dementia!
Smoke: You're not wrong, but what does that have to do with Trump's claim that he cured cancer?
Republican TDS: You have to listen to him in context!

Wow, did I miss something? Did Trump just claim he had a cure for cancer? I thought it was Joe Biden who had been making that claim.

New York, MA, Vermont and i think DC they're just giving them free stuff for months.
The current Boston mayor because she's so woke, even used a veteran's shelter to house illegals and i think she might be on her way out because of the outrage it caused.

Sanctuary cities and providing for them is ANOTHER issue we have with illegal immigration. I thought we were talking about the illegal immigrants that Trump claims are "stealing Black jobs". Which city in Texas has declared to be a sanctuary city? Nevertheless, do you not believe there are hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants working throughout Texas? Who is hiring them? That's what I'm speaking on. We agree sanctuary cities have to go and we OUGHT to target them. I'm consistent unlike you on this topic. You'll see illegal immigration is multifaceted and the problems you listen above are absolutely valid.

You're conflating sanctuary cities with giving them jobs.

Sanctuary cities are cities that choose to not voluntarily cooperate with federal immigration/law enforcement agencies for the purposes of enforcing federal immigration laws. According to US Constitution Article I §8, immigration duties are delegated explicitly to the federal government (not city or state government). I believe all cities ought to be obliged to work with federal government but that's another discussion.

It's STILL illegal to hire illegal immigrants though. A city can declare to be a sanctuary city but have no right to hire illegal immigrants. Thus, the motivation for illegal immigrants is still present if we DO NOT target the people actually hiring them. Even if they were city governments, target them! I would love to see proof of this though.

Black people don't live in sanctuary cities and states?

None of this was my real concern anyway. Just admit you dislike Trump and misinterpreted what he said purposely. You'll feel better about yourself.

If you looked for with half as much interest as trying to find fault with Trump I imagine you would have already found it.

Sure there are. You're bringing up sanctuary cities and making the claim they are giving jobs to illegal immigrants when you quoted my posts about targeting people who hire illegal immigrants. It's like my asking you what time it is and you say "orange". Sanctuary cities are another facet of illegal immigration, but they aren't legally allowed to hire illegal immigrants. They are allowed to not enforce federal law on immigration as it's technically a federal issue. The only common ground I can find in what you wrote is that we should target anyone and everyone who hires them, even if you want to obfuscate and only bring up sanctuary cities.

I didn't mean to offend you by discussing in good faith what Trump meant by a "Black job". I'd rather you poke at my points than at me personally though. When I debunked your misunderstanding of sanctuary cities, you just gave up and went personal.

You seem to think he is sinless. I try to provide objectivity... you seem to want an echo chamber. Label someone as having "TDS" because he dares objectively criticize Trump... even though he is considering voting for him. That makes about as much sense as Trump's definition of a "Black job".

I have no problem going after those who employ illegal aliens. Again, you are going off point. You implied that Trump may have employed illegals. Do you have proof? Because if you don't, you may well be bearing false witness and casting aspersions.
It all goes back to TDS. Since you won't be honest and just admit it,I'll ask: why do you dislike Trump to the point you are willing to speculate about his motives rather than give him the benefit of the doubt. Since I believe you have agreed he phrases things awkwardly, why such bitterness in your heart?

I'm the last person to take offense. And you didn't debunk my point. I know hiring illegals is illegal. So is voting. Since when has that stopped Democrats? You simply missed the point.
And it's not personal to me. I apologize if you are offended. You are a Christian, and yet it is obvious to anyone paying attention that you have bitterness in your heart towards Trump. And so much so you imply things concerning him and cannot prove. I wonder why.

Trump is far from perfect. But people have explained it to you and yet you refuse reasonable answers. You have an unreasonable angst against him. Again, I wonder why.

1.) Rubio Campaign Press Release - Fact Check: Donald Trump Used Illegal Immigrants to Build Trump Tower - Trump admits that there were undocumented workers but denied responsibility of actually hiring them. Meanwhile, the Judge ruled that the Trumper worker, Thomas Macari, was in fact aware the undocumented workers were doing the demolition. I don't want to further get into the weeds, but you're free to check the multitude of reports about Trump hiring illegals.

2.) You aren't capable of discerning what's in my heart because you've been wrong in every personal attack/accusation on me. The truth is, I enjoy watching Trump debate, give speeches, respect his wife and kids, etc... I think he is the funniest president in my lifetime by far. I love his impersonations too. Now, does this mean I like how he says things? No. Do I like how he exaggerates all the time? No. Do I always think he tells the truth all the time? No.

I love watching Dave Chappelle. He is perhaps one of my top 3 comedians of all time. Just because I like him doesn't mean I think he's fit to be president though. Nor does it mean I have to approve of ALL his jokes. I think part of why I like Trump and Chappelle is because I'm sometimes a little immature... I like roasts. I like parody. If Chapelle was running for president, I would have a multitude of objections... but it doesn't mean I don't like him personally. It doesn't mean that he doesn't say things he ought not to, especially if he's running for POTUS.

What specifically have I said has been unreasonable? I can do it line by line if necessary. I don't feel I've been unreasonable.

Actually, most people refuse to even define what a "Black job" is. The ones that tried, explicitly go against the very definition he gave on what it is. You might think their verbal gymnastics is "reasonable", but it doesn't make it so, nor does it mean anyone who rebuttals it has "TDS".
